Although it looks visually captivating, for some reason, im just not hyped for this. I feel like its going to get overshadowed by the big dogs (BvS, civil war and now supposedly ID2)

Written by Simon Pegg, count me in.

It can't be worse than "Into Darkness".

Written by Simon Pegg?  YES!!

People bashing on this now will put their foot in their mouths later.

Looks very GOTG -esque.  and that's not a bad thing.

Star trek turned into a sci fi action movie

Star Trek was never into the action thing. It was the thinking man sci fi.

Star Trek reboot had a lot of flaws and conflicts w/ the original canon.  It should never happen, even if it did, temporal police from the 29th century supposed fix all the disruptions in their timelines.

Abram already turned Star Trek into an action movie in the previous two, but obviously he had out done himself this time.

fast and furious mixed in w/ Star Trek.

The show is supposed to be cerebral.  but then wtf, that don't make squat for the exec who wants big money.

Star Trek was about problems in real life being projected on to a sci fi plot.  oh well glaring phasers beat any problems.

Star Trek: Beyond 2nd Trailer

It looks like Simon Pegg was right.  This trailer is much more Star Trek-like and I'm sure fans will adore this one.

seems legit, but unfortunately being a old time trekkie i am boycotting the movie because of CBS's fan project stipulations.

Meh. Found it less than good

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!
