Ok so Russell hasn't lived up to the expectations for this season so far but he's having stints and flashes of what he could actually become on a consistent basis, let alone improve.
Obvious issues: energy level isn't consistent as well as his defense though it isn't as bad as some believe it is.
I'd like him to attack the rim and make plays for others from there. He needs to be a somewhat threat in order to draw the defense but again this will come with time.
I like his potential along with Ingram and randle. Couple of years from now, they should be able to lead this team and be effective most nights. All 3 are versatile and they could bring different elements to the table. Zubac is no joke as well.
all three , in the near future, could play defense collectively, handle the ball, create shots for themselves and others, and shoot( bleh with randle)

I think he's been fine.

I dont think he has been as bad as fans believe but people were high on him before the season started.
