Walton, Fizdale, Messina, Ollie, someone like that please.

Byron has the most losses of any coach ever that has coached at least 1,000 games

Was always a fan of Messina. Was rumored he might succeed pops spurs.

Word.

If you think of the coaching talent this Lakers team just let walk away in the last couple years, it's hilarious.

Quin Snyder, Steve Clifford, Messina, etc.... Guys that were actually on this team. And we hired Byron ****ing Scott instead because he's TOUGH!

How about we stop this BS until game 40 or 50?? Let's see if adjustments will be made and players grow up. But I will say from a philosophy and personel standpoint, this team is perfect for a Stan Vangundy type

Again, Byron was hired because of Kobe. Until Kobe is gone they aren't going to hire a young coach because Kobe would eat that coach for lunch. Until Kobe is gone this team can't move on, whether it be free agents or a new coach.

They got Byron strictly for tanking purposes. With MDA we would've sucked but we wouldn't suck as much.

Why are you still here. We get it, you hate Kobe

Anyways, no matter how the roster is constructed they will not be use properly as long as Byron is still here.

For some reason, Jeanie is giving him a chance to meet his own deadline for contention. The truth is, she really doesn't have to, and few people in the fanbase would be sad if he was sacked tomorrow.

Regardless, the problem here is that Byron is doing a substandard job of coaching this team, and he needs to be held accountable for it.

Mmm no the coach is the problem. Kobe will still shoot but probably can get better looks if there is structure involved. Or maybe not. But his post game interview was nice to hear. Hopefully that translates on the court though.

People said this about Mike D'antoni …….
People said this about Mike Brown……..
Now people are saying this about Byron Scott….

The common denominators ?   a bad roster and a long ball chucking Kobe bryant

tell me where i lied in my statement ?   remember your feelings have no place in your response ..

You're right. I think it's connected though. You could get a STAR to come if you had a good coach with a system in place.

Lol.

Well. Another year, another troll.

ah yes the cop out response …..its called denial….calling someone a troll is a failed attempt to disregard  what someone says because of your emotions

people have blamed the coach 3 times ….. Mike brown….then Mike D…..and now Byron…..meanwhile a bad roster and Kobe bryant being the common denominators here…..wake up….if kobe is shooting 45-50% and above that would be a different story….but REALITY is kobe is jacking up shots and not doing much of anything else….there is no reason kobe can't be an efficient 17-20ppg player right now with at least 45% shooting minimum….

objectivity> your emotions

according you

objectivity = troll

telling the truth =troll

Well without Kobe we wouldnt be sniffing the playoffs in 2013.

Kobe missed 2014 and we still managed to stink.

Mike Brown was fired because he had a superstar roster (on paper) and started the season 0-12

Byron scott is .... just bad.

Kobe is zero to blame for me in the past but he'll have a fair share of criticism if he plays selfish, and rightfully so. Still, Byron's incapability to understand his players remain the biggest issue.

I don't think Kobe was a part of the problem until after his injury.

Bryon scott took a team to the finals twice …..people seem to forget this….the roster overall is just bad….kobe just makes it look worse with his ''performance''

Kobe can play selfish all he wants…but all he is doing right now is embarrassing himself….and its a shame….there is ZERO reason why kobe even injury in all can't be a 17-20ppg 5reb 5ast player with efficient shooting…win or loose…him going out there and jacking up 10+ 3's is just unacceptable  ….kobe is just trying so hard to prove to people he is still ''kobe''' and it will only hurt the bottom line unless he tones it down
