Definitely an all time classic. There's rarely a thing Quik touched that didn't turn into a masterpiece. He's not only a rapper/producer - he's a legit musician - something that's rare among rap artists. His beats are more than just beats - it's a legit music piece. Quik actually plays several instruments like piano and guitars, including bass.

He's still dropping good music too.  Im glad he didn't give up on it b/c mainstream has moved beyond him and others like him.

This album is so underrated.   Lots of live music / instrumentals, instead of that booming bass that a lot of rap fans like.
