I like it. Veteran guard to help Clarkson and Russell.

This team still needs a 3, and I'd kinda like to move on from Nick Young. Not upset about this signing though.

Absolute steal, especially when salary cap will increase next year. I like it.

I have a feeling this means Young is being traded to the pacers.

I want to say he's going to Indiana, but I don't know how open they are to taking back any long contracts.

I think it was to negate the trade kicker and they did say they wanted to have a more run and gun team.

Um why not have them together?

Lou Williams and Nick Young's scoring off the bench?  Yes please.

Our bench right now
Lou Williams
Nick Young / Jabari Brown
Anthony Brown
Ryan Kelly / Larry Nance Jr

Tarik Black / Robert Sacre

We actually have a 1-2 scoring punch off the bench that isn't JUST Nick Young.

Great move, and we benefit from both

Not sure how I feel about this. I would have rather signed a defensive wing.

Steal. I don't know if this means if Swaggy is gone or not yet but if we can clear his salary I'm not opposed.

POPULAR

I'm cool with it, really...but someone needs to coach Williams into taking less contested shots.  He never has a problem pulling up for jumpers when someone is in his face, and for a player who can't necessarily hit those like Kobe was able to in his prime, it makes him a liability sometimes.

I do like the fact that we brought in a combo guard, though.  We have fought for years trying to play two-guards as PG's, and vice-versa.  Vujacic played three positions, at one time, and we attempted to play Fisher as a two in some of our lineups.  Kobe has played three positions for years.

Now, we have three combo guards (Russell, Clarkson, and Williams) who can split minutes at each position, depending on the opposing lineup and the quarter.  It's awesome.

This is a huge steal. The 6th man from last season for $7 million.

Must mean Nick Young is going out to Indy.  This is a good turnaround if true.  Makes this team much more watchable and respectable.

Becuase we dont have the money to offer 7 mill. Young would be the only player that would net us enough money to get him. I expect him to be part of the pacers trade in some way now.

Good deal. If we had retained Davis this offseason wouldn't have been so bad.

I still think the Lakers feel Nance Jr. will be able to play minutes at the three, and if that's the case, that has the potential to boost our defense far beyond what I would have expected before the draft.  I just hope he's utilized correctly.
