i said either or, not both. Not delusional when they are free agents in the near future

Either or is just as delusional. The Thunder have an excellent chance of winning a title before either of them hits free agency. Neither of them is leaving a contender every year to come play for the Lakers.

You don't plan now for something 3 years in the future that has such a small chance of happening. It's not realistic. It COULD happen, but it probably won't.

RUMOR: Confidence in signing LaMarcus Aldridge led to the Lakers selecting D'Angelo Russell.

I love Russell and wanted him from the beginning. But with the likelihood Okafor was going to be the pick, I got it in my head to begin liking him, and now I'm kind of disappointed, but super excited for Russell.

I have 4 words for you doubters 'in Mitch I trust'. Though I did want Okafor, but we Lakers don't draft bigs we get them through trades and FA.

This isn't a big man's league anymore is more of a combo guard league.. He and Clarkson can work together.. You don't pass on someone who can be the next great scorer in this league for a big man.

I don't understand why Aldridge will even come here. It makes zero sense.

I keep watching Russell highlights and I see absolutely nothing to get excited for. He's someone you choose when you already have a bonafide star for him to work with.

Only saving grace about all this.  I'm not mad we got Russell, I just think Okafor was our guy.
