Totally my choice, big from free agency the new look Lakers. Not ready for the parade yet but looking good. Hold the 76ers hostage, they will puck Okafor and try a trade. Good gamble.

If LMA doesn't come, this pick is a bust.

It's a gamble theyre taking. They chose him over a sure 20 ppg player.

Only thing that makes sense to me is Mitch and Jim felt that Okafor was too slow footed with bad intangibles.

You expect LMA to leave a playoff team to come play with rookies?

Mitch and Jim clearly feel very confident that they can land a big man FA this or next year.

Hoping on Westbrook and Durant is delusional. The odds of it were minuscule no matter what.

i said either or, not both. Not delusional when they are free agents in the near future

Let me reiterate, if we don't get a big down low to pair with Randle, this draft is a bust.

I'm ready to be proved wrong, but I think Okafor was our guy.

Ugh.

I guess the good thing about this is if Russell fails, Mitch, and the Buss boys are all on their way out.

Only way I wanted this dude was if Minny took Okafor first, but wow.

How do you pass up on Okafor for an under sized 2 that's too slow to play the 1.

Now we know why Russell didn't work out for the Sixers.....Lakers told him he was going to be their pick a LONG time ago

Very happy and excited. It was my favorite choice, he is so elegant and classy. We will definitely find a big in the F.A, it is easier than find a good guard on the market.
