Best game yet. That drive to the rim against two defenders while twisting his ankle was phenomenal.

Thought he'd resort to a jumper (he was hot from all around the floor), but was surprised to see him finish that move.

Negative Xray. I'm damn relieved. How much time for this injury do you think? 1 week or so?

Man that boy has some confidence. " You'll ain't seen nothing yet. I just know what I'm capable of. I know what I can do."

I just hope he picks a couple of traits out of Kobe's personality.

That's paramount in a NBA career. He does seem to trust himself a lot which is a good thing. You don't become great if you don't believe in yourself.

I didn't follow the game day thread tonight but were people talking about his defense? I thought he did a great job on Rondo. Kept him out of the game which helped our comeback.

He played solid on ball defense. He missed Rondo at least twice off the ball ( i believe both were buckets)

Dude gotta hit the weight room this summer. Scary to see what he can do 3 years from now when he has experience under him and a mature body.

What concerns me moving forward is his inconsistent energy + drives/game .. Gotta fix both.

He has been attacking the rim alot compared to day 1 but still shouldnt lean too much on jumpers. He has to be capable of driving and pulling up so he could read the defense and react accordingly with ease.

Finished with his right too, with confidence twice today.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

He is slowly putting it together.

Got this on Reddit:

“Since January 1st, the Lakers are 22.3 points per 100 better with Russell on the floor. (-15.9 off and +6.4 on) ,

For those who still think Russell doesn't play defense, the Lakers are 12.4 points per 100 better on D with him on the floor

Since January 1st, the Lakers are 10.7 points per 100 possessions better on offense with Russell on the floor.

In terms of raw shooting numbers, the Lakers TS% is 5.9% higher when Russell is on the floor. Makes it easier for everyone”
