GAME 1:

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

With the long layoff, could be an ugly game 1 for both sides.

Based on what they've done so far, i'd say the Warriors should destroy the Cavs in 4. However, the Cavs have Lebron and Kyrie as well as a handfull of really really good roleplayers - Mozgov, JR, Shump, TT and Dellawhatshisface - so i think they could make it a 5-6 game series, if they're healthy.

Do not forget the Warriors "bonehead lapses".   They go a 2-3 mins span still making rookie mistakes.

They can't afford to in this series. It's gonna take 4 perfect games.  Anything less and they'll drop a few games that could change things.

I could see the warriors winning in 5 but most likely will go six. Just feels like Curry's year to me. When he fell to the ground on his head and sprung up like a chicken I thought it was confirmed to be his year. I mean this guy normally is brittle and injuries get him, but he has been healthy all year and setting the league on fire. The dubs also seem like the better team to me, just hoping for a good series really. I think curry is gonna have a heck of a series, and the dubs need that for the chip.

I'm going to pick the Warriors in 6 but I'm not confident in the pick. I could see the Cavs winning the series. I know I'm not the only one with that thought in the back of my head.

If the Warriors win games 1 and 2 at home I like them in 5.  If they split games 1 and 2 I like them in 6.  Love that they did away with that asinine 2-3-2 format btw.

Klay Steph LeBron and Kyrie will get theirs

Tristan Thompson and Mozgov vs Draymond and Bogut is what this series will boil down to

Rebounding will win this series, no doubt about it. Love would've been huge here.

Going with my gut, Cavs in 6. Looking for LeBron to make everyone look like little kids with his finals experience. He's dealt with the Spurs for two years straight, he can deal with the Warriors.

If this was the Heat, I would've agreed. LeBron's Heats would win in 6.

If this was the Heat, I would've agreed. LeBron's Heats would win in 6.

Kyrie is Wade who can't play defense for Bron.

Tristan Thompson is a more effective Birdman.

Shumpert is Chalmers, probably even a bit better

JR Smith is doing what Ray Allen was doing

Mozgov and Love did well to fill the Bosh role, but that's obviously not being done right now.

So you're left with hoping Delly and Kyrie can match up defensively with Steph, probably not gonna happen, but this series isn't gonna be won on an inevitably outstanding performance by Steph.

My gut is telling me that Tristan Thompson and Mozgov are gonna give Green and Bogut a run for their money on the boards. Add LeBron to that equation, and it turns into a really slow paced game because you'll have Iggy and Klay having to come down to crash the defensive boards, which won't allow much transition to be played until Cleveland goes with their smaller lineup. Basically, LeBron's gonna have to hustle more than we've ever seen before, and play some crazy minutes, and I think he's ready to do that in a Cleveland uni.

LeBron is smart enough to make this series into a matchup of half-court offenses - something that he was terrified of back in 2011. That's exactly what Memphis did those two games that scared every Warrior fan to death. The Warriors can shoot all they want, but I don't see them outshooting a LeBron run offense over 7 games, IF the game does in fact turn into a half court battle.
