GSW dont have the physical presence to match up with the Rockets.

Defense wins Chips. The Warriors have none. Theyre game plan is to out score teams. In Finals that usually doesnt happen because you run into a team that can actually play defense.

So far GSW MVP and his side kick "Spash Bros" have had easy back court match ups in a Courtney Lee and the couldnt breath regularly, face injured Mike Conley. The Grizz dont even play a SG. Lee is a SF who didnt have half the foot speed to match up with Klay Thompson. And The Pelicans? lol they had to play 3 SGs they matched up so bad.Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans and Quincy Pondexter. PG Norris Cole was the 6th man. 4 guards to defend 2. Thats a nightmare.

But the Rockets dont have the match up problems. Now the Warriors will have to grind out wins. Something they havnt had to do all season.

The Rockets have 4 quality guards in Harden, Beverley, Terry and Prigioni.

They match up well in the back court.

And we all know the GSW front court has been outplayed in every game these playoffs. But Anthony Davis, Gasol and Randolf didnt have the back court support to cover Splash Bros.

Dwight Howard and Josh Smith do and as a result they will completely control the paint against Andrew Bogut and a combo of Draymond Green/David Lee.

For their first time in the Playoffs the Warriors have match up problems now. Kerr will recognize this and play small ball. If a unsung hero like Barnes, Iggy or Barbosa hit a high % of 3s they survive. But I dont believe that will happen.

Rockets in 5

Holy [expletive] did I have a good chuckle on the bolded parts especially.

Honestly man, it stuns me to see you praise an underwhelming team like the Hawks who had trouble putting away a lottery team in Brooklyn in the first round, and then proceed to [expletive] all over a team that has proven to be the best team in the NBA all season.

A lot of what you just wrote proves you haven't watched GS at all. No defense? They're one of the best defensive teams in the league!

Physical presence? The Rockets led the league in 3 point shooting! You're really just pulling all these statements out of your ass.

Oh, and the Rockets have the backourt to cover Steph and Klay? Like who? Because the only perimeter player worth a damn on defense is Ariza so whoever is being guarded by Harden/Terry/Brewer/Prigs is going to go off.

The Rockets have 4 quality guards? Lol ok. But the combo of Steph/ Klay/ Livingston/ Barbosa bests HOU's 4-guards easily. HOU does not match up well with GS's backcourt what so ever.

This post just straight up reeks of unwarranted hate, especially given your praise of the Hawks, acting as if they're going to just cakewalk right through LeBron. The Hawks will be lucky to win 2 games, just like HOU.

Hope the Warriors smoke them.  Spurs are gone and now the Clippers too, although I wish the rounds were reversed.  Only the Rockets remain.  After they're eliminated I really couldn't care who wins.

No commentary upon LakersGAFan's comments...

The fact that he thought Beverly was playing indicates that he hasn't watched a single Houston Rockets game all postseason long...

"Defense wins Chips. The Warriors have none. "

- Probably the biggest misconception in all of basketball...  The Memphis Grizzlies are infamous for their tremendous defense yet they fail to get passed the 2nd round each year.  Steph, Klay, Iggy, may not be 1st or 2nd team All Defensive players, but they are solid on the defensive end.  Draymond was a potential defensive player of the year award winner, and Bogut has always been a solid defensive post presence...  Also, I hope you know that GSW is 3rd in Lowest Opponents Points Per Game 1st, in the Western Conference... Memphis 5th, Pelicans 13th, and Houston 15th...

"The Rockets have 4 quality guards in Harden, Beverley, Terry and Prigioni."

- The Rockets have 1 quality guard in Harden... a player whom was essentially exposed during the Clippers series... The fact that you even have quality guard and the names Jason Terry and Prigioni in the same sentence provides some pretty decent comical relief so early in the morning.

"Anthony Davis, Gasol and Randolf didnt have the back court support to cover Splash Bros."

- Memphis has Conley and Tony Allen, arguable the best if not for certain a top 5 defensive backcourt in the NBA... You've been watching to many Hawks and Eastern Conference games...

"Dwight Howard and Josh Smith"

- Josh Smith doesn't offer any offensive post game... If you watched any game of the Houston Clipper series, you'd realize that a majority of his shots either come from easy layups due to lackluster defense/bad coverage.  Or a 3 point shot that was simply launched in the air with 20 seconds left in the shot clock...

Don't let your hate for a team or franchise blind you...

Weren't the GSW one of, if not the top team in defensive efficiency this season?

They play hard, out hustle teams, rebound at a good rate, rotate on D and cover the paint well.

Green, Bogut and Barnes to a great job in the starting 5 on defense, Klay isn't some defensive scrub either, Curry at least tries. Plus Iggy off the bench as another perimeter defender.

i thought GS statistically had the best defense in the league this year? correct me if i'm wrong though

if memphis couldn't take them down, i seriously doubt houston can...zbo+gasol > howard and anyone else on houston

harden has not been big in playoff games, unless that changes, they're done.  GS also has homecourt, and it's tough to win at oracle

I don't know how quality Harden is other than 90% FTA, he was sitting while Rockets had that huge came back, he couldn't move a hair for the Rockets in the last series other than his FTA per game was like 12+.

If Clipper were 2 mins away from killing Rockets, then i would expect GSW to murder Houston, probably a 4:1 series for GSW, at most 4:2.

Not sure if the dude was trolling or the fact he's from Georgia and the Hawks are still in it just clouded his already pretty questionable judgment.

Maybe a bit of both?

Nor much or any of Memphis apparently. I almost think he's trolling as well because I'm just not used to seeing GAFan THAT off, but who knows.

I'd be surprised if the Warriors don't pull this one out in 6. They're the only team left that can really just jump their game to the next level in certain matches and just go crazy on the opposition. Sometimes it's like watching a game of 2K with how easy they make it look. I don't think the Rockets can contain them.
