I remember this game like yesterday, this was when the Ray Allen and Kobe rivalry first got kicked off. Kobe was PISSED this entire game. It was so much fun watching him drain all those 3s and they were not any uncontested or foot at the line type of shots. Almost all of them were contested or from DEEP.

He actually set the record in 2003 (beat Dennis Scott's 11), and Donyell Marshall tied it later on (2005).   :81:

Kob was on fire that night.

I think Kobe hit 9 consecutive in this game which is an NBA record for most consecutive three point field goals made in one game. He did the same thing at Utah a few years later

I can't help but think that this record is going to be broken sooner than later given the increased emphasis on 3 point shooting. Awesome to watch Kobe go at it though.

Surprises me that it already hasn't. I mean, Klay has hit 9 in a single quarter, and both Klay and Curry have hit 11 in a single game before, you'd expect them to hit more than 12 at some point.

Curry or Klay will break this

Possible. But a lot of Curry and Klay threes come off screens and fast break opportunities.

Kobe was firing away from anywhere on the court being guarded heavily.

I think this is the season where Kobe officially became the best in the NBA.
