Typical Mayweather fight, not always the most entertaining. Was really hoping for the upset, but I always knew it was a long shot.

All I want for Christmas is a Laker girl :D

His plan might've just been the money apparently. Hate to say that, but who knows. It's boxing.

Manny just seemed like he was fighting to avoid a knockout instead of using angles and a swing of punches to win.

Right? You would've thought or hoped to AT LEAST see Manny attempt to throw punches from angles against Floyd with some of his speed & quickness (although diminished quite obviously at this point in his career), but no, not even that. No attempt whatsoever throughout every single round. Not one [expletive]in' adjustment or even ounce of evidence.

yo.

Floyd Mayweather Jr

19 years Unbeaten

Some of the fighters he beat along the way..

Manny Pacquiao
Marcos Maidana

Canelo Alvarez

Robert Guerrero

Miguel Cotto

Shane Mosley
Juan Manuel Marquez

Ricky Hatton
Oscar De La Hoya

Carlos Baldomir
Zab Judah

Arturo Gatti

Chop Chop Corley

Jose Luis Castilo

Jesus Chavez

Carlos Hernandez
Diego Corrales

G. Vargas

Angel Manfredy
Genaro Hernandez

Again.. there won't be greatness like Floyd in a long time. He has dominated through 3 eras and 19 years.  From 1996 - 2015.  I dont think there's many resumes that match up that dominant over near 20 years.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Mayweather's the one that put him in that state of mind. He didn't have a problem letting his hands go in his last few fights, particularly his last one.

He didn't because Mayweather put it in his head very early that it wasn't gonna happen.

Floyd just had an answer for everything Pacquiao had till he was out of answers and became a target.  Just like Mayweather does to everyone else.

It's been near 20 years he's been doing this to people. I think the answer to why Manny and Canelo can't is standing right in front of them.. Mayweather.

Pacquiao struggled with counter punchers like Marquez.  Mayweather beat Marquez in every sense of the word and even had HIM confused as to what he could do.   So if Mayweather can do that to Marquez the guy who could keep Pacquiao at bay, that Pacquiao would run out of answers too.

It's not man who beat the man, but when you watch Pacquiao constantly struggle with Marquez, you think about Mayweather and what he did to Marquez + the fact he's faster, smarter and a better boxer than Marquez... Pacquiao needed a knockout and Floyd wasn't having any of it.

When people say "Pacquiao could have boxed better." or "Pacquiao could have used more angles."

Mayweather knows the angles, he's a better boxer, he nullified Pacquiao with his jab just like Roy Jones aid he would.

The reason Pacquiao didn't go full speed for 12 rounds is because Mayweather didn't let him.   Mayweather's been shutting down guys for 19 years.  He's the reason.

That's why Pacquiao didn't keep coming forward all night and started trying to shoeshine and back out.  Then Mayweather used his jab and Pacquiao had no answer.

Pretty obvious that Money is one of the best fighters of all time, and maybe the best defensive fighter ever.

I don't like him personally because of the domestic violence things, but there's no doubt when he gets in the ring how good he is.

Watching ESPN trying to say that Mayweather isn't "even close" to top 10 all time is ignorance at it's best.

Yes them trying to laugh it and saying "Floyd ain't top 10 or 15 easily hahah!"  Tessitore and Atlas are idiots.

Floyd's been undefeated for 19 years across 5 different weight divisions and multiple world titles.   Find another fighter top 10 that has that kind of resume.

ESPN needs to STFU and appreciate greatness.
