Harden should've got it.

Melo shouldn't be starting either.

at least the injury will make it easy for him to step down and let someone else play...

fans have got to understand how these things work by now...no one should be that surprised by kobe getting voted into the starting lineup.

nice to see he still made it in during a time when a lot of the bandwagon fans have jumped shipped...

just goes to show you how strong laker fandom runs...even with our diminishing numbers, we managed to vote in a player that probably half of laker fans are done with...

OH WELL!!!!! Let Harden be half the draw Kobe is before complaining about a fan voted event.

Like some of you have said ... the starters are basically a popularity contest... the fans wanna see their favorite players participate...... so they'll continue voting for t hem.

I absolutely love knowing that this absolutely digs at Harden lol.

He must be tired of getting [expletive] on by the all star selections lol. He deserves starting based on his numbers, but oh well, the game is a popularity contest after all.

The allstar game is for the fans - not an early version of the all-nba teams - and for that reason Kobe should be a starter because he's a fan favorite - unlike than bearded idiot in Houston.

He will not play due to the "shoulder injury".

It was one game where he could have shot > 40%

Didn't deserve the AllStar nod...not this year.  Got it because of the fans...and TBH, why not?  That's who pays for this stuff...

I mean he did deserve it, as you said yourself it's because of the fans

That's literally what the all star game is. An exhibition for the fans to see their favorite players play together

Kobe deserved it!!! The fans said so, just like they said Carmelo did by their voting lol. I never care about the Starters as these are decided by fans. What I do take note of is the reserve's however. These players are chosen on merit and performance by the coaches.
