only thing I have a big problem with is seeing Storm with black hair prior to meeting apocalypse.

Is it too much to ask for them to freaking get her character right...  :(

Seeing X-Men Apocalypse getting hated on for not having the same tone as Civil War... are critics [expletive]ing serious??

Anyway here's Grace with the early review giving an unbiased perspective as she was somewhat critical of the movie.. till she saw it!   :D

"Best X-Men movie ever"?  I'd love that to be the case.

Sounds like the heads up his [expletive] critic that pissed her off was criticizing the movie for actually being true to the comic books, as in Psylocke actually LOOKING like psylocke but the critic was all "Oh yeah, wearing a swimsuit in an apocalypse..that will happen" that is so freaking stupid lol.  IT'S A COMIC BOOK MOVIE!! WE WANT THEM TO LOOK LIKE THEIR COMIC BOOK COUNTERPARTS!! Hating on that because a Superpowered heroine dresses like precisely how she dresses in the comics

psylocke_by_mixgray-d7x7seo.jpg

psylocke-1024x426.jpg

is so stupid.   If critics really are doing that and trying to go "It's not the same tone as Civil War" then we need to throw out those opinions immediately particularly if coming off watching a 'comic book film' and asking 'why are they dressed like that? That's not realistic'

ugh

Just watched it and I'm really pleased. I liked it better than Civil War and Batman vs Superman.

Pretty sure Olivia Munn pushed for Psylocke's comic costume too.

i'll be there opening night as usual for these things...don't care if early reviews are poor, the x-men are my favorite comic book characters...they'd have to really screw this up for me not to enjoy it

Movie was pretty good, and I don't see why it's being thrown under the bus.

OK, I've been waiting for this for a while. I liked it. But I have to say that DOFP is better and it's an easy choice for me imo. I might actually put it at the same level as first class tbh, but that's not a slight at all. I enjoyed it, just not as much as I thought I would.

Just saw it and loved it.

Cartoon xmen ruined everyone's perception of what a character should look like.

Yup.

Civil war was a bit better

Yeah, that 90s X-Men version of Rogue changed how I looked at every version of Rogue since. Should've made her uglier lol.

Though I'd personally cast Lyndsy Fonesca as the new Rogue.
