Ben Wallace was slightly shorter than 6-9 just saying

It can be done. I'd like to see what he does first with 20 minutes or so.

There is precedent for a 6-9 center.

Honestly if we don't get our pick this year I'd be in favor of him starting next season along with randle

The only issue is Ben had sheed next to him who was almost 7 foot so it worked

Having black and randle out there is interesting to say the least

Black is as tall as Randle is, and even longer then Randle, and stronger. He is in no way a undersized PF.

In a picture with Mitch, who is listed 6.9, Black seemed to be bit shorter than him. Probably angles though.

I mean he played in Houston, and played well every time he got minutes. Today wasn't his first game ever

How many games did he play with the Rockets ? 15 ? not sure if the sample size is big enough to judge.

I hope he can build on how he played today and carry it over moving forward. Though 9 rebounds in 15 minutes wont happen very often against average or above average rebounding teams.

Scott said LAL saw a big, strong and athletic player in Tarik Black when the team acquired him, and has since been impressed w/his hoops IQ.

Ronnie Price said rookie Tarik Black handled tonight's game like a 10-year veteran. Knew all LAL's rotations, hit his 4th Q FT's, etc.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Tarik will be a fan favorite. He's going to be one of the hardest-working players we have.

He's listed at 6'11". Not sure he's really that tall but what he seems to have are incredibly long arms, which possibly makes up for his lack of height.

Obviously just the Magic, but he was doing this when he started for the Rockets. It's not that he's just hustling, a lot of it seems like rebounding is just easy for him and he may just have very good timing and long arms.

Hey.....Mitch and Jim haven't gotten any free agents but I gotta give them credit on these random pickups. This guy might be something.

He probably will be nothing more than a strong low post defender. Basically Perkins in his prime.

That is what he already said. His is a defensive minded player and that he needs to work on his offensive game.

If someone wants Hill.

We can just keep the expiring

With Nash and Lin , Boozer and Sacre off the books, thats 30 million.
