I have actually been pretty impressed with the objectivity (with a not-so-subtle agenda of course) of many of your posts that critique the Lakers, much better than many of the homers on this board.

The Clippers did move the ball pretty well last night, from the small sample of the game I saw.  Their shots were not falling and despite Doc's comments that the D was good, i disagree.  Thunder were getting way too many easy shots and good looks.  So if I am the Clipps, I am not too worried about the O- good ball movement and guys like Reddick wont shoot 1-10 very often.  I would be more worried about the D.  They wont beat too many quality opponents with that approach.

Agreed. Luckily they can take a night off again on defense tonight since the Lakers have no offense yet worth defending.

Probably not.

But a midnight viewing of Cavs v Bulls before it could be.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Lin and Davis should be in the starting line up but its not going to happen. it leaves the bench with nothing. a lineup of Price/Wayne/Henry/Kelly(is he playing)/Hill is not good at all on both ends..

Shows you how important Nash,Young and Randle are for the Lakers.

Wesley should up his game man. He's not a good on ball defender and always in a chase mode off the screen. He has got to be more aggressive and use his legs better in screens. In offense he got to be more assertive and hit whenever you have an open shot.

Kobe will use lots of post ups (which i hope more off screens for him) and Barnes will most likely guard him. It leaves Redick on Wes (which he should take advantage off)

Im 100% sure Blake is going to have more than 30 points. 1 because Boozer can't defend him and 2) He's not going to work Blake on offense which gives Blake more energy to operate on the other end(offense).

Honestly the only way i see the team winning or loosing by 10 points maximum is Kobe goes off red hot and they double team him while the other 4 lakers move well and take advantage of that. Otherwise NO MATTER if Kobe goes for 30 or 60 he is not capable of winning games alone.

Lin should use lots of PnR with Davis further beyond the top of the key to leave him space to outrun Jordan or alley pop to Davis(guarded by Cp3 if its a successful PnR)

All in all, they're not winning.

The Clippers haven't looked as impressive through pre-season or this season and are on a back to back.

That however isn't gonna matter if we have another slow start yet again.

Some of the answers are in plain sight, we'll see if Byron takes initiative and see what, if anything changes.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Yeah who?

Clippers Run LA will be at the game.

Now I hope MaceWindu, who has been quite active and negative in his comments lately, is not sourpuss posting tonight, even if its a blowout.  I get so tired of reading that dribble, dont you?

Somewhere out there, Mike Brown is rooting for 0-6 so that he doesn't have to be the one coach with a bad start.

They probably not going to win but if they did it is a successful season for me.  They can lose every single game but beat the Clippers four times, thats my personal championship.

We will win if Lin has a 20/7 game,

Kobe has a 25/3/5 game,

Wes scores over 10 points

Boozer scores 15..

and Ed Davis plays significant minutes together with Lin

and no one gets hurt.
