I agree, but don't see that as his mentality.

That mentality is exactly the player he was in college. All this handling the ball, jumpshots, pushing the pace was something he's been trying to show he can do in the NBA.

Randle's not getting to the FT line anymore.

My main issue with Randle is his lack of court awareness. He's late on passes, always. Him Russell and Clarkson will do wonders in a fast pace offense.

Defense is a big issue with him. Probably the worse on this team in coverage and rotations.

The good part? All of his problems are very fixable. 3 years from today he can be really solid.

And he's only like 20 games into his career.

He's going to be solid some time next year.

Maybe even special year 3.

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Fun Fact: Last night, @J30_RANDLE became the youngest Lakers player ever (21 yrs old & 3 days) to record at least 19 rebounds in a game.

He will be at worst a guy that is capable of putting up some decent numbers in NBA games. He could be amazing, he could be an all-star, but at worst he will be mediocre, as he has already shown that he is capable of playing. What were you doing at 21? Give the guy some time, he is 20 games into an NBA career.

People can complain until they're blue in the face but the guy is incredibly physically gifted and one hell of a prospect. He has 20-10 potential. That's what you want out of a lottery pick

From someone who knows nothing about hoops...(j/k, sorta).

Trade Randle for NOP's 1st rnd pick this year (doubt they do this)...double down on getting a good pick in the draft this year and securing a top 3 pick...gives us more chances to get Simmons...

LOL...let the flaming hate begin!!!

Nice right handed pass by Randle here.

You can see how he's coming around.

Ah yes. I remember this pass in the gameday thread:

Good idea by Randle on the pass to Hibbert but very difficult to pull off.

Well you dont throw a bounce pass to a 7-2 player running the floor. Should've been above the rim. But I like the pass by Randle. Thats what we need to see, better decision making.

Randle is so lazy at screening and he's very late at making passes. Its because his mindset is attack first. I think that'll change with time.

Agreed. You could see Hibbert was giving a target with his left hand for Julius to throw the ball to. Good pass, but poor decision on Randle's part.

Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.

Didn't say it wasn't. Just said it's tough to pull off.

P.S. Guys....Randle is going to be a beast.

This guy is a huge beast. He needs to address his precision and his vision but he can be a huge asset for our team.

Somewhat back on track tonight. Was funny when he knocked down OJ Mayo hard to the floor so effortlessly. Even Stu got a chuckle out of that one.

yo.
