I didn't see the play, I was driving home from class. Was it just one of those unavoidable things?

Yeah. I think his right leg got caught on his left leg as he drove up and passed.

Julius Randle is undergoing X-rays right now, but team says suspicion is he has a broken leg as @Rachel__Nichols reported.

Word from #Lakers on Julius Randle - Fractured right tibia, will be transported to hospital, no decision on surgery, but likely.

Is this like the Paul George injury?

More like the Ben Wallace injury.  Strangest thing as I watch the replay it looked like he hit his right leg with his left leg as he was going up and that is what caused the break, he fortunately landed on his left leg or some real bad damage could have been done.

Strangest thing, looked like a Tibia injury similar to Worthy's.

Edit: it is Fractured right Tibia.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Just announce as a fractured Right Tibia, unknown if he'll need surgery at the moment.

Man I stopped watching after the starters came out and was actually entertained by that little skirmish with Kobe and Dwight. This is was just hard to digest

There's concern by the Lakers that Randle has fractured his lower right leg. It would be a season-ender.

Man what a letdown. Knew we wouldn't be good this year, and not that he makes us good but I really wanted to watch him grow.

It at least sounds like he'll be back in 3-4 months but such a waste of development time.

Broken leg in the first game of your career. Tough not to shed a tear.

The basketball Gods are just flat out pricks. They couldn't take Boozer or Sacre instead?

Remember, Julius Randle fractured his foot in HS and had a screw inserted. But he bounced back and still dominated. He'll bounce back again.
