#Lakers medical staff tells me Julius Randle has broken his leg. Awful to see him carted off here.

TNT is reporting Randle's leg is broken.

Sad moment, watched Kobe Bryant cradle Julius Randle's head, as Randle said to Kobe, "[expletive] hurts man. It hurts"

Chilling scene here at Staples with Lakers rookie being carted off with what appears to be a serious leg injury.

Hope it's only broken and not Achilles. Unfortunate really.

Somehow the worst anticipated laker season of all time. Got worse

1 game in

I never thought I would have that feeling of when Kobe ruptured his Achilles.

And here it is again

Worst thing I have seen for the lakers since kobe tore his Achilles. Such a young kid that really gave this team some hope for the future. One of the toughest things Ive seen was him getting carried off.

This really got me.

Sad moment, watched Kobe Bryant cradle Julius Randle's head, as Randle said to Kobe, "[expletive] hurts man. It hurts"

Nothing official on Julius Randle's injury yet from the team. Imagine he's getting X-rays in the back. Stay tuned for official update.

I've rarely felt such a sense of surreality as I watched this happen.

Is this like the Paul George injury?

He was literally the ONLY hope we had for an entertaining year. I guess it's safe to say he's out for the year?

I didn't see the play, I was driving home from class. Was it just one of those unavoidable things?

Doesn't look like its an open fracture (bone popping out), so that alone makes it less severe

But we'll see.. The way the season is already going, i wouldn't be surprised if it was much worse

Our photographer says Julius Randle's mom came through the tunnel in tears. Awful to see your son injured in his first NBA game. #lakers

Honestly have no idea what happened. Idk how it broke. Saw the replay like 5 times and saw nothing.
