IMO points per shot attempt matter more than FG%. Kobe was only 6 - 17 in the opener but he had 19 points. Had he gone 9 - 17 for 18points would that have been any better ultimately?

Kobe's ppg will be inversely proportional to our winning %.

If he scores more than 25ppg, we will have the worst record in the NBA...I guarantee it...

Kobe should pick up his percentage and shot selection as he plays more games, or at least i hope so.

He's untradable men, he's the reason why the lakers earning a billions of money, Kobe shoot's = crowd roar = big money plus he's the face of the current lakers right now, I don't see anybody but him.

Historic losses? We have the worst start since we were in Minneapolis. Do you see it getting better because I don't. When I say rebuild I mean start acquiring young players and picks

Honestly it's not too impressive, he's shooting 24 times a game, is struggling from inside the arc and outside of it and can't even hit his free throws. Plus he's only averaging about 3 assists. Maybe my standards are too high but I think Kobe himself would admit he's started off a bit rough. I think he'll be in the convo at the end of the year tho

He is shooting 40 percent averaging 3 turnovers and is averaging the third most shots per game in NBA history . He isn't having a good season because he leads the league in scoring

The guys on AM570 said earlier tonight:

"Kobe has one goal this year, to lead the league in scoring.

This way he can preserve his reputation."

That's consistent with what I've seen from him.  Choosing to take contested shots on fast breaks while he has wide open trailers that could easily convert the deuce if he passes the ball up.  The other PPG leaders are playing team basketball.  big difference.

I don't believe that at all. I really think he believes the only way they can win is by him dominating the ball. Kobe wants to win he isn't worried about the scoring title

We're gonna be in that area regardless. This team has no talent

He's 36 years old. If he does this all year that'd be a feat in an of itself.

I can guarantee Michael would shoot just as much with this roster.

This is a bad team, a really really bad team

The other PPG leaders who are playing team basketball have no rings. Kobe Bryant has 5 of them.

Five.

5.
