Gonna have to see who's playing

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Kobe on how Dwight will approach game against Lakers: "He'll go out there and do the best he can."

Asked if this game means anything more because of Dwight's return, Kobe said, "Why would it?"

Wish the game would have been today. Why they start the season on a tuesday is beyond me.

Lakers win tomorrow.

Why?

Because [expletive] Dwight Howard, that's why.

I really think the Rockets got worse this off season, but the problem was we were so awful last year and we just got a little better I think. I don't know if we got better enough to match how much worse they got haha.

My thinking on this is anything can happen in one particular game. Adrenaline, another injury to someone, crowd support, etc.

But with the changes to both teams...by the end of the season houston will still be around 20 games better.

Savor any wins this season, especially the 3 or 4 that might come against top teams

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

Not to mention half of our team is injured.

Kobe's never really had trouble beating Ariza off the dribble. Ariza's not strong enough. 2011 playoffs round 1 he had no problem beating Ariza to the basket off pure strength, I expect him to be in attack mode tomorrow night, knowing this.

I expect Dwight and Harden to each have 20+ but Kobe will keep the Lakers in the game and it'll be a close one.

If Harden is driving and getting calls, that's where it can get ugly because we have nobody who can stop his dribble penetration. That's a big game for him and Dwight.

Rockets in a close one.

Lin will score 20+ points against Rockets simply because he can. Lakers win by 5.

Beverley vs Lin is a non-match up. Lin will destroy Beverley. Kobe will have his 20+ point games.  Boozer will score double digit.

Ed Davis will have a great game.

Lakers takes the first season win.

Considering our team has a gritty identity that tries to take away the paint...I expect Harden to get around 18 free throws.

Now if they had Parsons... I wouldn't give the Lakers a chance.

i also expect Randle to have at least 10 points and 5+ boards.
