Manny pacquiao is officially a member of a pro basketball team in the philippines by being drafted 11th overall.. while he may be the starting pg or sg, he is also the coach of that team..

I have a lot of filipino friends and they always say that in Philippines if you're a filipino who is born and raised from another country and decided to go to philippines you can become a celebrity easily as long as you have a decent look and can speak fluent english?

As a Filipino, I view this as a stupid move to promote Filipino sports in general. We know he likes basketball, but to pit against the elite PBA Players? Preposterous!

this is how i fell too.. but on his standpoint, i think he deserves what makes him happy at this time of his life, he's done so much for the country and this is not too much to ask.. but yeah, i still think its stupid
