Can't wait either. But i can foresee our offense not having an identity judging from what coach have been saying. Lets pray it works out. I have heard him talk about using Triangle, Princeton and some other sets altogether and giving players freedom on the offense.

Our offense is basically going to be a read and react offense depending on what we make the defense do.  Scott wants to implement it or start implementing it early which is why the pre-camp is important because it allows Scott to see players methods and start having clues how he wants to use them or what plays to run through them.  Randle has been getting a lot of schooling in it as well as them working on his team defense.

That's why I wish that Jordan Hill was there.  If he's not he's missing out on a lot of work that could help him next year.  Davis however is there and Hill and him are practically the same size, Hill only outweighs him by 4 pounds.  So if Hill hasn't put in the work in the off-season(a problem before) Davis is more athletic and a better rim protector.. so....

Your saying Davis could start over Hill. I'm with it. They both have to earn what they get anyway.

Yes, if Hill shows up to camp like he has before, not really working in the off-season as hard as he could. Davis who has been there every day could start over him.

Remember last off-season it wasn't just D'antoni asking Hill to work on his mid range jump shot, it was Kobe too, Kobe gave him a specific number to shoot every day.  He shot about half and that is why his mid range was unreliable last year till about the last 10 games of the season.

Hill would do himself a lot of favors to put in the work in the off-season and come into camp in the best shape he'd have to be for a camp like Byron's.  This is why Davis is there now.  That 2nd year 9 million part of Hill's contract is something Davis wants instead and he's been there every day, working with the shooting coach, playing 5 on 5, drilling and talking with Coach Scott and improving his free throw shooting and post game.   These are the things Hill SHOULD be doing right now.

So if Hill shows up putting in only half the work then Davis could and should start over him.

Know nothing about him.  Camp body for the most part I'd gather.  6'7 small forward that shoots 33% from the field but plays well in the dleague.

It's up to him to live up to it. The 2nd year is the Lakers choice. If he doesn't step up that 9 could wind up going to Davis, or at least a portion of it.

Well we have 13 people on the team so anyone else signed is going to deep bench and probably in and out of D league.

So Beasley no longer being considered?

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!
