Well, we essentially got tons of defense in this draft, in Brown, Nance and Upshaw, and of course, a potential star in Russell.

Brown is also a great shooter.

The waiting for the lottery was hard, then waiting for the draft, and now I can't wait for the SL to begin!

I'm hearing Vince Hunter will play summer league with Philadelphia.
I'm hearing Denzel Livingston will play summer league with the Houston Rockets.
Lakers reached summer league commitments with undrafted bigs, Washington's Robert Upshaw and Arizona's Brandon Ashley, source tells RealGM.
Seth Tuttle will play summer league with the Miami Heat.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

They are a horrible organization. The only one worse than them are the Knicks. Okafor is leaving the first chance he gets. That's a guarantee.

I'm always surprised when I come here and I see a BBIQ post.  I would have thought he'd have been banned a couple of years ago.

Lol what are you guys complaining about, there’s literally no Laker news. And BBIQ makes a good point.

I'm pretty sure there is a rule about not bumping old posts to point fingers.  He could have made that point without doing this.

I think it’s valid. Since were all bored as heck, when we browse through this thread it’ll be like oh my God, what was I/he/she smoking??

BBIQ wasn’t rude or offensive. He just said look st how high Jody was on Mudiay [and how wrong he was].

We’re all guilty of hyping someone and then they don’t live up that hype. This was a good reminder for me.

I like going back and looking at old hot takes.  I don't ever remember being extremely high on Mudiay.  I did argue with Maj about his level of comp in China.  Draft talk is fluid as well.  Some of the arguments made at the beginning of year aren't the same ones being made later.  Look at the view of Towns vs Okafor changed getting closer to the draft.

Russell wasn't even a top 5 prospect to start the season so I don't even think we started discussing him heavy until later in the season.

The one guy I was high on that hasn't turned out to do much was Exum.
