Would completely turn this team around if we got him. Would impact the team right away and much less of a risk than drafting a player.

not sure how this would play out as far as playing concerned.

Who is our PG? How will Kobe and Klay will play out on the court? What will we do with the cap space? More questions.. lol.

I think the irony in this is that Love will bolt the Warriors next season for Lakers

Klay Thompson still on a rookie deal. This makes complete sense I mentioned this to our LakerNation staff two months ago.

From what I have heard - Wolves want more than #7 and are hesitant to take Klay who wants a big contract - so GST would send #7 instead

Especially given there is no Kevin Love to GST deal done - any part Lakers might have in that isn't done yet

FWIW - Lakers have a $2.8 million trade exception for Steve Blake - Klay makes $2.3 mil - LAL can't trade pick pre-draft but after

Does that mean we got 500k left if the trade happened? lol still confused.

I wonder if the trade would be public if we pick and trade. Not sure how that would work.

We can trade the pick if we acquire another pick beforehand.

I assume the Warriors would send the pics to the Wolves for Love then?

So we help the Warriors get Love, then Love comes on over in 2015 AND we get Klay on rookie deal + bird rights?

100% homerun for Mitch. Room to sign Melo too.

Top three, and I'd say no...but since we ended up with #7, it's difficult for me to sit here and say that I'd rather keep the pick.  Klay Thompson has all-star potential, and I doubt we will get that with our pick.

Most people here want Smart for #7

Embiid injury makes a team in the top 6 pick Smart IMO, he wouldn't even be available to us

I'd take this deal. More immediate impact than anyone we'd hope to draft with the 7th pick.
