My roommate has a PS4 so I'm definitely getting this with an extra controller. I'm not even good at FIFA but it never gets old.

Lol at a "Celebrations Pack" being a pre-order DLC bonus.

Is that it? No special color Nikes or exclusive jerseys for players to wear? Unlocked classic teams or like legendary players from the past available to play with? Bonus stadiums to play in?

C'mon EA. Lol.

That's just gamestop. You'll still get 15 gold packs from ea.

If you get the ultimate edition which is $10 more you get:

+$40 content value - 40 Gold Packs

All 7 Entitlements Bundled

  • Adidas All-Star Team
  • Historic Kit Bundle
  • Adidas Historic Predator Boot Bundle
  • Celebration Standing Tall
  • Celebration Kiss the Wrist
  • Celebration Flag Kick
  • Lionel Messi FUT Loan Player (Only in Ultimate Team Edition)

If you play a lot of ultimate team the Ultimate Edition is worth it.

I still have my Winning Eleven 8 game if I want to play soccer..

same way, when I want to play a NFL game, I don't  put in madden 08, 09, 10, or 12...

I put in Espn NFL 2k5

I am not giving EA anymore money... (even thou titanfall is an exceptional PvP game, sorry, cannot buy an EA game)

Ea murdered my favorite game franchise of all time (command and conquer, ruined my favorite sports game, Madden, and basicly botched or ruined a hundred games in between)

I still have Halo 1 if I want a good FPS game

I didn't own '14 and would only play it at my friend's house, but this feels way better to me. It could all be in my head but the ball handling feels way more fluid and it's much easier to score since you can just tap O.

Played shot Fifa last night. Regretting it in the morning lol.

^ every publisher does it now.

If the game is even slightly successful there will be DLC maps and other virtual items available for sale within a few months.

I hate that we have to pay extra for new maps, but it is what it is. Keeps the games fresh if anything.

What I do ABSOLUTELY despise is EA and other companies selling BS like "shortcut packs", that unlock everything for say a Helicopter or a Jet, or unlock all of the Assault Riffles plus attachments in BF4. Everyone has to grind it out while someone pays $10 or $12 and is on the same level as them. EA started selling "Battlepacks" too now for BF4.

I have been playing a lot of FIFA ultimate team , but man racking up the coins to get a good team is very hard to do. Playing game after game helps rack up the coins but then the players fitness go down real fast and soon they drop like flies to injuries.

Anyone have been playing this game type for a while? Im not sure if I should target single players on the transfer market to build my teams or open some packs and hope my luck pays off and build up on the consumable cards. Any tips?
