I won't pay to play a game like Skyrim or Black Flag cause I torrent those anyway. I'll check out Borderlands 2 though.

Good choice. Borderlands 2 can be pretty addictive and the character classes have very different playing styles.

Plus, it has great replay value. 6 characters, 3 playthroughs, DLCs.

P.S.: I tried to look for your username on Steam, but I haven't found it.

^ Nice! I am starting to play a bit more of CSGO. I suck so bad lol, I just spray and pray most of the time. Majority of my time is spent in dota2.

learn the way your favorite gun sprays, and learn to estimate where to aim so you can send a wall of bullets to your enemy.

I understand that CSGO is not like Battlefield/COD where you can't spray in thie game. It'll just take me awhile to get used to it since I am too accustomed to play BF. The only problem I have with it is that just like in CS1.5... It gets repetitive after 1 whole match.

My friends are really into it at the moment. They're betting a lot of items. One of them is up by $300 in CSGO items and the other one went from starting off with $4 up to $80 lol so lucky!

You can spray bro,  just gotta learn to aim a little lower then you usually would to adjust the recoil.  Man weapons can get retarded expensive,  I got a $200 knife,  $170 m4 howl,  a couple other goodies and luckily I won mostly all of them.

hmm, i hadn't touched global offensive, or any counter-strike in some time, but just looked up some random vids on youtube and it looks like a lot of the same maps are available from my CS 1.6/source days...

might pick this up and start playing...that use to be my game, i was probably better at counter-strike than almost any other game i played in my life (though super street fighter II, and the marvel vs capcom series is up there)

anyone remember CAL league?  THE online gaming league in the early 2000s? (maybe still, but i stopped paying attention awhile back)

i use to be CAL-main in counter-strike...which was a high a level as you could get into without an invitation, CAL-I (invite) was invite only, basically those who won main, and those are the people that would play for 15,000 at the CPL tourney once a year in texas

Yeah, the CSGO has gotten very competitive! Even more now with the addition of betting skins and streaming matches on Twitch; things I both do.

I hardly play CSGO, more into Dota2. But I recently started playing CSGO again since most of my friends' are playing again. Debating about whether or not to trade my Dota2 hook for a CSGO knife, but my friends' say its not worth to trade the hook for a csgo knife. Although I feel bad for my friend lol. He straight up went #YOLOSWAG420BLAZEIT mode and lost his $400 in CSGO items on betting LAMO.

I'm all for hip firing in close quarters when you just run into an enemy and you have to act fast but...

not being able to ADS at all? That's a tough one lol.

Those Juan Deage dome shots are pretty bad ass though.
