Hi Everyone,

I moved to Columbus Ohio from the Long Beach area a couple of years ago and have really missed watching Laker games. Are there any Laker fans/fan clubs in Columbus, oh that get together to watch games?

I have really missed keeping up with the purple & gold for the last 2 years. The only games I can watch are the ones on ABC, ESPN or TNT suffice it to say I barely get to watch any games out here. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm sure there are, but they'll be hard to find since the majority of people who register are just lurkers & don't actually contribute to the forum. Have you considered getting league pass though?

yo.

Yeah I've looked into league pass and would definitely consider it but i'm also looking for a group of friends to hang out with and watch some games. Columbus is all about OSU football and basketball. Although I like Columbus, every now and then you need a little piece of home.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion though it's much appreciated.

I'm in Pennsylvania, and I know how you feel. Originally from Inglewood, but I live in this terrible place now where people only care about the Steelers(yuck). I don't really meet too many basketball fans out here, and the ones I do meet are usually Heat fans so I watch the games solo on league pass :/

I might try to start a meet-up group in columbus to see if i can get any L.A. transplants to Columbus interested in meeting up at a sports bar to watch a game. At this point other than getting league pass (ugh) I think this might be the most promising option. I'll keep you guys posted with how it works out.  Thanks for the replies and suggestions, it's appreciated.

Welcome to the club.

Do you have decent internet connection? LakerNation only endorses streams from nba.com , but if you stop by the gameday thread or PM me before a game, you should be able to watch any game.

Thanks Wade. I have a really good internet connection (15MBps Down and 10Mbps Up). I'll stop by the gameday thread or PM you before a game. Thanks again.
