The Lakers won yesterday, they have tonight off, and they are still in L.A. cause they got Memphis at the Staples Center.
I really hope these guys aren't going out tonight, as soon as the record is even modestly better than "pathetic" they act like their the [expletive]

Agree, they should either be in the gym or at home 24/7, it's ridiculous for them to want to have a life outside of basketball.

I get the sarcasm, but they could also maybe wait till they miss the playoffs for the 5th consecutive year and stay out and do anything they want once may-september rolls around.

Yeah, have fun on your off days but also build something through seriousness and dedication.

Right?

Excited for  1. Lebron! (Still love me some Kobe, but damn this guy is amazing) 2. Another big get (Whether in FA or in a trade we need some attractions and closers) 3. Young Guys making big jump (Assuming we have anyone left after more necessary moves either genius ones or in desperation)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

That was the mentality that won Kobe 5 rings.

Checkmate.

But really, it's pretty blatantly disrespectful that the fanbase is working hard to pay an expensive cable bill that went up in price just to be able to watch the games at home, they are losing games, they don't know their plays, the majority of them are still underweight, and they are going out during their time off when they are being compensated millions per year and in return aren't even producing an adequate record. And the business office still has the nerve to slap ads on a losing team.

Prime Kobe wouldn't tolerate any of this.

It doesn't bother you because you stream games illegally offline off your grandma's wifi. You don't work hard. From your perspective, it's not someone taking advantage of you, it's a movie that your streaming for free.

If you were on my team I'd force your ass in the gym.

I really miss the killer mentality. No one on this current team has it. I really hoped Randle would have that feeling

Is it fair to say that this current Laker team have good individual pieces but the majority of them don't fit?

And how much of the blame pie is on the coaching? Management?

Is Luke a product of the GS team that had success because it has 3-4 allstars on it?

Yes his sub pattern is suspect at time... look What he has to work with

Mainly 20-26 year old but nooooo stars or all-stars... bad contract... different roster.

Not to mention Magic putting all their business out from the jump.

I will say this... Mitch was a pro at keeping secrets.

Here's to hoping it will get better before it gets worse

It's been alright.

That 5-5 start really made people dumb.

Look at the teams ahead of us.

Look at the Fts and 3 point numbers.

Our best players are rookies and 2nd year players.

Randle is a 3rd year player.

I think we forget that.

I still have an occasional morbid curiosity about what's going on, but I've been out for a while now. I had stuck with the Lakers through thick and thin but now that I've reached my 50s (and my dad died a few years back of cancer at age 68), I've realized life is too short to spend so much time and energy on something that is no longer fun.

Sorry about your dad. Wise words I definitely relate to at 35.

It’s not Luke’s fault at all, he has no veteran leaders and the youngest team in the league. To expect more is just being a fan. He is doing fine just wish Levar would find other avenues of expression.
