Of course, don't really keep in touch too much with the league, but I'm ALWAYS into when the national team plays for sure.

I'm still a bit puzzled as to why Sanchez starts over Ochoa at goalie still.

Hugo Sanchez was one mero mero chingon!

I haven't really liked Oswaldo Sanchez for a while now. I think Memo is definitely way better and deserves to get the start everytime now over him.

^ Just ONE of the several reasons I'm sure. My question too is how come Spain didn't play or enter? Did it have something to do with them just recently winning the Euro world cup? I wanted to see them, that's a shame.

Anybody here see the Mexico Honduras game yesterday @ Azteca Stadium? Man, Mexico sure started off horribly as far as missing a ton of opportunities to score & then the stupid goal Honduras got off a free kick was off a terrible I mean TURRIBLE call on a total flop by some dude. Anyway, Oswaldo was stupid there as well for giving so much space. I still was pissed to see him starting over Memo (Guillermo) Ochoa, so ridiculous. Anyway, fortunately there in the second half, Pavel Pardo made a tremendous, I mean TREMENDOUS shot from far away, then soon after, about 1 minute or two, made another one off a free kick that just took one bounce by itself and went straight in. Crazy stuff.

This game really though, had Mexico played a more solid game capitalizing on their opportunties & executing, should've been like at least 4, 5, or 6 to 1 in favor of Mexico, but a win is a win. They're gonna' have to take advantage of those chances more often than not though if they expect to compete with way better teams.

Seriously, I don't like Franco, Vuoso and Leandro in the squad. But that was a sweet game. Sweet goal by Pardo but Franco had the 3rd goal but he blew it.

Vuoso and Franco need to go. They need to add Bofo.

By the way, why didn't Nery Castillo play or did he even go? Was he invited? He's by far one of our best & most explosive players on offense & goal scorer.
