Wow I used to think DJ was the worst free throw shooter in the NBA until I looked up Drummond's stats.  Good lord.

I knew Monty Williams' wife died in a car accident, but I didn't know 3 of his 5 kids were also in the car. 2 expected to be ok, no word on the third.

Some messed up stuff.

Major dust in your eye alert...

Russell is tearing it up the all-star weekend.

Yet Russell and Clarkson barely got any meaningful recognition.

Byron must have had connections in insisting Russell not close out the game lol.

No defense played at all that game.

Clarkson got hot early, he had 17 in the first half and hit 5 threes. Had 12 points and 4 threes in the first 4 minutes of the game. If LaVine wasn't scoring at will, JC would've got the MVP.

Russell played well, I didn't even notice how many points he was scoring, they were all in the flow of the game. I think he had 24, but he got to start in the 2nd half and did well.

Mudiay put up 30 points and 10 assists and had the stroke going from outside. Of course they were all pretty much practice shots, but he was knocking em down.

Minni's got it good with Wiggins, Towns, and LaVine, but they need a far better coach if they wanna accelerate the growth and actual results (wins) process. Sam Mitchell just ain't gonna cut it.

yo.

He'll be gone after this season. He was never supposed to coach them in the first place, but they just rolled with him since he was on Flip's staff.

Word is they're looking at Thibs.

Hate watching game played like that.

But they did look like both teams were using byron's defensive schemes.

Skills challenge and 3's officially the only worthwhile activities of AS WEEKEND

Praying for  1. Some Cohesion (Ill fitting parts with young bucks, new guys, and those playing for next contracts may muck things up all season) 2. Better Coaching, No More Tanking (Last season was more of the latter but not sure how much of the former we can count on. Walton with something to prove this season as much as any Laker player) 3. Rookie Watch (Hoping Lonzo outshines his daddy (ROTY??), and Kuzma finds minutes and makes a push for all rook 2nd team)

READY FOR SEASON!!!

LeBron brings a title to Cleveland and Delonte West is begging for money on the streets of Houston.  Life's a trip sometimes.

Apparently the guy that wrote that either jumped to conclusions or was looking for clicks. But apparently West was helping a homeless man instead of being one.

Here's the story:

So, naturally, when a photograph of the former Boston Celtics guard on a Maryland street holding a cardboard sign went viral this weekend, many assumed the worst and believed he had hit rock bottom and was homeless. The original tweet since has been deleted, but the photo caption read, “Let’s Pray For Delonte West Y’all He Bipolar And On St.Barnabas Road Bumming Smh He Ain’t Taking His Medicine.”

Fortunately, it appears West isn’t actually homeless. He reportedly cleared up the speculation about his situation to Media Takeout and said he was just trying to be a good Samaritan.

“(I) was helping a homeless man in my neighborhood that’s paralyzed from neck down,” West said. “I parked my car and got out to help because it was 90 degree weather and (I) was feeling blessed at the moment for just having legs.” West, who was drafted by the Celtics in 2004, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2008. He last played in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks in 2012.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Ah wow, goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover.

Silver lining to this is that Delonte West is able to afford a cheeseburger.

I like to dip my feet in toilet water & smell them.

This shaq/javale twitter beef is hilarious.

"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons." - Kobe

Pierce is just an overrated player. He did nothing until he got Garnet and Ray and Garnet was much more the center piece of that team. This whole farewell tour for him is a joke.
