This pretty much.

He was actually pretty good during his mixtape days when I was a fan, but his flow/voice was still a little untolerable. I also wouldnt say he's garbage.

Nicki Minaj, however...

Have you heard "If i die tonight" his voice reminds me of the C2 days

Every once in a while he'll drop a decent song, but the rest is utter [expletive].

Ive heard his newest stuff of hiphopdx and I'm impressed, I used to like him, but he got so overrated and so hyped up, it turned me off.

I can see him saying other people are better than Wayne, but Drake? Ight then.

To me Drake is better than Weezy his flow is better and his lyrics usually makes more sense than Lil Wayne not to mention when I hear a Drake song compared to Weezy song Drakes songs come out better to me and he's actually a decent singer. But yea really gotta hop off a little bit at some point G it's not becoming of you

Said in my eyes...

Do you ever read his lyrics? No substance. Just a bunch of punch lines thrown together and a chuckle here and there. I liked a couple of his old tracks. Some are pretty catchy.. But come on.. Lollipop??? A Milli??? "i don't write [expletive] cause I aint got time"? what the [expletive] is that supposed to mean.

I miss music with a meaning. Even Kanye puts out some meaningful tracks.

A little shallow of you to only care about lyrics, aren't you?

You should know not to expect a lyrical masterpiece when you put on a Lil Wayne track, but there are other redeeming qualities in his music. He wouldn't have sold a million copies in his first week if there wasn't.

Yeah Justin Bieber sells quite a lot too..

You can have your opinion and you can go listen to all the lil wayne that you want. There was a question and I answered it in my own opinion..

I don't only care about lyrics but it is a very important part of the song I would think. I mean Ke$ha's on the radio and shes singing about brushing her teeth with whiskey.... Whatever man.. listen to what you want..

Justin Bieber can actually sing and Ke$ha.... well the song was reall catchy and that's about it.

And for the record I actually do listen to a lot of "real" hip-hop (hate that terminology), and at the same time I can still appreciate the stuff that gets radio play these days. [expletive] music elitists.

He made a troll reference after I answered the question of the thread. I never said nobody should listen to Wayne and anyone who does is an idiot. He doesn't respect my opinion and labels me as a troll. Why would I respect his?

That he doesn't sit down and write his lyrics like a lot of rappers because he's too busy....

It's always funny when people say his lyrics don't make sense. Examples?

Sometimes they're just gross. He's a venereal disease like menstrual bleed... some disgusting wordplay right there why would you say that.

And music doesn't have to be about lyrics. Lyrics don't have to be the most important thing.

When it comes to actually rapping lyrcis are the most important things. You can have great beats, but that doesn't make you a good rapper. It's not like singing were you can be pretty weak lyrically and just have an amazing voice to cover it up.
