Is it just me, or did Kobe forget he has team mates? He was over dribbling, forcing bad shots, and not rotating the ball at all.

I don't think he forgot bout his teammates, IMO he wanted to win so badly and thought his teammates depended on his performance that he started to force it a little. He'll be there on thursday, got no worries bout that.

No we all saw that disgusting performance he put out tonight

Kobe contained Rondo, and I would way rather he have the ball than anyone else. He wasn't making a lot of shots in the 4th that he normally makes. Give the guy a break, he is after all the best player in the game.

Kobe didn't show up? LOL, please, if it wasn't for him in the 1st half the Lakers would not have win the game. And yes, Kobe played AWFUL in the 2nd half, but he was getting draped and he made the wrong choices. But, to say he didn't show and needs to step up his game, you got to be kidding me.

Listen to Phil, is not just Kobe, it's also their defense and you guys should know that.

Kobe played two completely different halves tonight. It was so strange. There's no way he can play this bad again, though, the rest of the way. This was his worst performance of the playoffs, in my opinion, not just the Finals.

It was really weird. He played pretty well in the first half, and then he forced and jacked up a ton of bad shots in the second half. Like you said, he shouldn't play that bad again, but his Finals FG% isn't that great to begin with though.

he played great in the first half and got them that lead, that they very very clearly needed to pull out the win. No Kobe and we lose by 20, every game.

1. That was one of the sloppiest halfs that I have ever watched the Lakers play. All we did was iso, iso, iso, and then Kobe was forced to force up shots as the shot clock expired. I would love to see Pau get more touches as the series progresses, we gotta play inside then out and not the other way, we shot way too many jumpshots that second half.

2. I love Fish. I'll admit that I disliked him in the regular season but the dude is clutch during the playoffs. Kobe was dead cold in the fourth and Fish carried us to a victory. And he's an absolute professional, I admire his respect for the game. His interview almost brought a tears to my eyes.

3. Lol @ Ray Allen, he was one shot away from making history, and he would have if KG would not have been called for an offensive foul (which I saw coming after they reviewed and overturned the call which was a foul on Rondo).

4. Learn to keep leads, I hate how complacent and lazy we get when we get up double digits. In that third quarter particularly we should have opened up a nice lead with KG and Pierce on the bench. Overall I'm happy we got the win, 2 more to go!

That is a big big win for our organization. We did that without Kobe being himself virtually the whole game and we held off a veteran Celtic team down the stretch and didn't even allow them to get the lead. Fish carried us at the end and that was big time, Fish continuing his clutch legacy on the way to his 5th ring and us showing our championship poise down the stretch. Paul Pierce can suck my dick. 14 down 2 to go. Stay humble and focused and lets take care of business Lakeshow.

We can't forget that Cleveland did this and took a 2-1 series lead and then lost 3 straight so we have to be more focused then them.

Big difference in that win. The Cavs absolutely destroyed them in game 3, as if the Celtics didn't show up. The Celtics definitely showed up to play tonight, they had an instant 7 point lead, and were within 1 several times in the 4th. We just outplayed them in this game. The Lakers should be most upset that if they had defended Ray Allen in game 2 they could be talking about closing this series out on Thursday. For the bulk of this series, we have outplayed them. We are bad at holding leads, but pretty good at getting them :)

Since he is the best player alive I hold him to a higher standard and that was a very bad shooting performance in the 2nd half if Fish didnt show up and we lost everyone would be blaming Kobe for choking when we needed him most.

Vic Da Brick is funny. Kobe even gave an answer lol
QUOTE
Also, remember this when the TNT guys tell you that Andrew Bynum is "injury prone" -- it's because Kobe Bryant fell on his leg. He's injury prone because someone fell on his leg. Put that in your pipe when one of them says something along the lines of "I just don't know if they can rely on him." Can they rely on Kobe to not fall down and tumble into his leg, again?
