Arguably???

You think McCoy can hold a candle to Suh?

What are you looking for? Where does Suh fit in a 3-4? What if you already have a good 4-3 NT and want a 4-3 UT who can get pressure? McCoy has been great all season. He simply doesn't have the hype Suh had.

From what I've heard and seen Nebraska does run a 4-3 most of the time but I heard that they didn't even use three LBs most of the time. They even run 4-2-5 and 4-1-6.

Suh will fit in anywhere. He can rush the passer, play the run, destroys double and triple teams, and play sideline to sideline. You may not see another DT of his caliber for YEARS.

McCoy has been good but the fact of the matter is that Suh gets more attention because HE HAS THE BETTER NUMBERS.

McCoy played in 13 games and had 34 tackles (24 solo), 6 sacks, and 10 hurries.

Suh played in 14 games and had 85 tackles (52 solo), 12 sacks, and 28 hurries...not to mention 3 blocked FGs.

Both players are projected to fit either the 3-4 or the 4-3.

McCoy already has the experience of playing in the 3-4 and 4-3.

Suh had a better D, but neither OU or Nebraska were slouches. McCoy is going to be on the same level as Suh. I can promise you that.

Both defenses are fairly close in rankings iirc.

Will be interesting to see what happens come draft time.

I hope the Cowboys can land Tate, Earl Thomas, or Iupati with our first. Also heard we like Taylor Mays....he reminds me too much of Roy Williams...don't really want him

Also, I guess Bradford is going first according to Adam Shefter of ESPN

Here's the latest from Scout.com

1. Ndamukong Suh, There's no question that Suh is the top prospect in the draft and will likely be a top-two overall pick. Suh's offseason workouts just solidified his dominance.

2. Eric Berry, Suh is the top prospect in the draft, but in my opinion, Berry is the best defensive prospect to enter the NFL in the last 10 years. His leadership and playmaking ability are off the charts.

3. Sam Bradford, Bradford has Peyton Manning like ability and if he's able to regain the accuracy and arm strength he displayed during his sophomore year at his Pro Day, the Rams will take him.

4. Gerald McCoy, McCoy has great skill and helps others on the defensive line. But as good as he is, he doesn't take over a game like Suh. McCoy is a solid prospect who may end up being a top 3 pick.

5. Jimmy Clausen, There are concerns about Clausen's personality and leadership qualities. But on the field he's a gamer, and a player that's developed nicely during his three-year career at Notre Dame.

6-21

Most mock drafts have them taking Jared Odrick, DE/DT, Jermaine Gresham, TE, or a corner.

I would love Jermaine Gresham. He has really gone under the radar because of his injury.

Good read on Gerald McCoy. Could he be making a move on Suh's top DT spot?

Here's an update from SI.com:

1. Rams, Bradford

With Bradford allaying all health-related concerns at his pro day last week, the Rams can start printing his jersey for the press conference. Any lingering chance of someone trading up to No. 1 for a shot at him likely went by the boards when Washington got its quarterback Sunday night.

2. Lions, Suh

Plenty of mockers seem to be buying the notion the Lions will pass on Suh in favor of an offensive tackle like Russell Okung or Trent Williams. I'm not there yet. True, offensive left tackle is a higher premium position than defensive tackle, and taking an LT can make your salary structure more sensible. But is everyone forgetting the ex-Cornhusker might be the most special player in this draft, like we all thought four months ago?

3. Bucs, McCoy

What's the worst that can happen for the Bucs on draft night when their only tough call might be having to choose between Suh and McCoy? But in the case of the ex-Sooner, those Warren Sapp comparisons aren't just draft-season hype.

Who do you want your team to draft Windu? You are a Bucs fan right? One of the DT's?

Yeh, we're in rebuilding mode. I really want Suh but he'll likely be gone which would prolly leave us with McCoy.

We need DL, OL, WR
