Been living under a rock for all these years Chicano? As much time as you spend on the internet I doubt this is the first time you've ever seen that pic. We've all seen it, so what exactly is the point of this thread? As if we don't already have enough threads about Weezy in this forum already. Not to mention this has been discussed before.

They tried to set a trend, and FAILED as usual.

Apparently you don't know that Lil Wayne was the one who invented the term "bling bling" which people still use today.

Bling Bling hasnt been used since 03' and that was BG's track.

What do you mean it hasn't been used since 2003? I'm not talking about music trends, I mean in general. Everyday people still use it nowadays.

And so what if it was BG's track? The words came out Wayne's mouth and he was the one who made it popular.

That's like saying the man who invented sliced bread is irrelevant just because he invented it in someone else's kitchen. That's petty nonsense and highlights your immature disdain for Wayne and not wanting to give him credit. But it's okay, you obviously aren't alone here.

I don't bait. If I have an issue with someone else I put it all out there.

If you feel uneasy and offended that's you, not me.

Did I say it was something historic? Look at the post I quoted. That member stated that they failed to set a trend and I pointed out that Lil Wayne invented a phrase of his own over a decade ago that's still widely used today.

So settle down with those "creative" jokes that only the wittiest of persons could have conjured up.

laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaangweilig

Hey, I'm talking about Lil Wayne, I'm not trying to [expletive] your girlfriend
you can take a discussion about your idol easily, don't you think about that?

And to be true, BG used it first, so he didn't set a [expletive].

He used Bling in a rap song, not bling bling, so you failed in your acid response.
Thank you, Try again and you will be luckier.

I never said he was my idol. And I know you're not trying to [expletive] my girlfriend, you'd just be wasting her time and yours. Although I'm sure I'd get a good laugh for a moment.

And no, BG didn't use it first. If he used it first he wouldn't have let Weezy and Birdman say that Weezy said it first for all these years the way they have.

So no, thank YOU. Maybe you SHOULDN'T try again because you WON'T be luckier.

Not to mention that he doesn't limit himself like most rappers do.

I dont listen to much of wayne. I'm not anti either. He's doing his thing in his moment and getting his. But I wanna ask you about your statement above^.
How does Wayne "not limit himself like most other rappers do"?

As far as production goes he uses the same key boards and sounds as everyone else. Probably Triton extreme or TR88. Or the same mods/synths (probably the karma). He uses some cool Norlead generated sounds to. I give him props for that because atleast his beats dont have ALL the same sounds as everyone else on myspace or fruitiloops or some other biter site.

He records using the same pro tools program on the same macs with the same sound engineers that went to the same FullSail type schools as other rappers.

Not to sound old school but lyrically hes on the same thing other rappers have allready been on for 10+ years. His content doesnt differ that much from anybody else. Thats not a diss to Wayne that he's re-packaging old material and re-introducing it to a younger audience. Thats smart business in any form. Its working and making him rich.

He may come up with some original phrases and words. But E-40's been doing that "make a new word up" bit for 20 years or so.

He wears the same kinda clothes and has the same hair as many rappers do....he kinda looks like Busta Rymes to me.

He has gold teeth. Or he did at one time. Public Enemy did that bit in the 80's. I dont know if he's the one that brought that bit back from the grave first because so many other rappers ruined their dentals now its rediculous.

He has tats. But thats far from original. Now a days no tats would be original.

So what makes him so "not limited"? Serious question. I'm not messing with ya. Just wanna know your opinion as you seem to listen to the guy alot.
