yea man, the Oline has looked better ever since we got that new Center, named Stone. I think hes better than Hawley. A walk on, undrafted free agent is better and more effective than a past draft pick...lol. Last night if we had even a average defense we win that game.

Or if these 2 plays go different

1. The Rodgers fumble in the 1st quarter.

  • He fumbles the ball
  • Falcons recover.
  • Rodgers dives to try and re-recover.
  • Falcon dives on pile for lose ball.
  • And its ruled a "late hit"
  • How can you have a late hit after a fumble.

2. Ryans 1st half interception.

  • With our defense we cant give Rodgers a short field. And we did.
  • Ryan threw it, but why was Devin Hester just standing there, not moving at all the entire play. Some kinda communication.

The media kept boasting that GB was supposed to expose us? I dont know how with us being the underdog and playing on the road in their ice box of a stadium. The entire NFL knows we have a potent offense with a crippled OLIne and NO defensive pass rush at all.

The reality is GB got exposed. They are not a true Super Bowl team. In the playoffs when they have to face Seattle or AZ that have great defenses GB is gonna have major problems. Because GB cant stop anyone on defense either. Like I said above. The Falcons are 32nd, dead last in defense. But GB was 26th. After last night they are now 29th.

As for our Falcons, if we can play like we did last night for the next 3 games we will finish the season at 8-8. Because nobody is gonna put up as many points as GBs offense except us.

There are a handful of teams that can put up as many points as the GB offense. Maybe not as consistently but certainly more than just one other team...

Pretty awesome. I wasnt aware of this.....

Ryan's Record-Breaking Day: Sunday was the biggest stage for his team all season, and Matt Ryanicon-article-link.gif delivered by outdueling Saints quarterback Drew

Brees, completing 30-of-40 pass attempts (75 percent) with one touchdown and a 106.5 passer rating. It's the second-straight week Ryan delivered with such precision, completing 70 percent of his passes for the 31st time in his career, including no interceptions.
Our friends at NFLAM recognized Ryan's effort, pointing out his 32nd-straight road game totaling more than 200 passing yards, topping the 31-straight games by Brees and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Ryan's 322 passing yards on Sunday moved him to 27,906 for his career, the second-highest total number of passing yards by any quarterback in his first seven NFL seasons, behind only Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (29,442).

noise gate...lol

What a bunch of bull[expletive].

League mad we just jacked potentially the best new head coach in football from Seattle who brought the Seahawks D Line coach with him to the A.

We were 1 yard from a Super Bowl 2 seasons ago.

And then every other team stole our Assistant coaches and coordinators and 5-7 of our core players on the O and D lines.
What goes around comes around [expletive]ez.

Steven Jackson cut

Harry Douglas cut.

"This begins the barrage of many roster moves to come over he next 2-3 weeks"~Dan Quinn

People mad we cut Harry Douglas need to get a grip. He was great. Still is. Its likely he will be a top receiver on another team if that team has a QB like Ryan who can pass the ball efficiently. He was cut because change is happening. And it must. With change comes moves that may or may not be very popular. But the end result is we won 10 games the past 2 seasons. Thats not directly because we had, or didn't have Harry. We need a defense and Im willing to sacrifice anyone not named Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Jake Mathews. Everyone else is expendable and replaceable. Good luck #83, so long as you dont stay in our division. If I was him, Id look at SF because they're releasing Crabtree.

+
CB Phillip Adams
DE Adrian Clayborn
DL/LB Brooks Reed
LB Justin Durant
LB Obrien Schofield

I am really believing in Dan Quinn now. Dont sleep on what hes doing here.
Hes selecting key B rated defensive players, upgrading from our D and F rated players and getting them cheap.
If we can sign Derrick Morgan, Brian Orakpo or maybe even Anthony Spencer whos having issues over there in Dallas, ATL is gonna step up the D game big.

I think Quinn realizes what many of the fans think. We have a top 5 offense. But we have the worst defense in the NFL(#32)
If we can bring our Defense up to about #18 we would go 10-6 and win our division. And build from there.

Getting docked a 5th rounder for the artificial crowd noise

Any loss of picks suck, specially when we're in such dire need of depth, but I'm so relieved it wasn't any higher. I was expecting to lose our 2nd rounder with all the talks of the severity of our punishment.

yea. and since we lost a few FA this year we will get a few compensatory picks. Probably a 5th rd and a couple 7th round picks. So this came out good. I think Arthur Blank just coming clean and admitting it helped big time.
