I picked Life Support..came up with that myself not too long ago..I dont think its dead, but if it keeps losing its hardcore, raw originality..its gonna end up as commercial as pop rock

It's been dead. Hip-pop is here. I'm not even gonna name artists who killed hip-hop, some people here are gonna get butthurt.

I honestly haven't listened to the radio in months.
Just hook up my iphone to the dock and voila.

Anyways I'm disgusted w/ the current state of hip-hop
There are a few artists that I like, but for the majority it's trash.

But I'll just go back and listen to Wutang Forever, while the masses listen to Lil Wayne.

I dont think its dead YET. As long as we got underground, it got a lil pulse goin..but it really is a damn shame. I mean 'Ye and Common's albums were good music, but the world didnt need it coming from THEM, y'know? I want old Kanye

Certainly not what it used to be, but I wouldn't say it's dead. I guess I'd say it's somewhere between "Doing All Right" and "Life Support".

I'm hoping Eminem & Dre's new albums will be great.

Wayne's got talent, I'll give him that, but his songs are just plain wack.

Most of the Lil Wayne fans are 16 and have no idea how great hip-hop was back then. Give them 3 lps. 2pac-All eyez on me, Biggie- Ready to die, Big Pun- Capital Punishment, and tell them to defend that crap he raps about to that.

Nas is my favorite lyricist. His delivery and flow is second to none. His latest albums haven't amazed me, but here's my favorite albums of his (in order):

-Illmatic
-It Was Written
-Stillmatic
-I Am
-Nastradamus
-Hip Hop is Dead

His other albums were meh.

It's been over 5 years since I've listen to the radio. Shame. Nowadays, all I have on my iPod is the old stuff.

It's OK though. I've been reaching outwards to other genre.
