Amare is too selfish to play behind Lebron's shadow... He wants the spotlight all to himself... Sorry but by playing with Lebron James, his recognition would be comparable to Kwame's... Especially when BSPN is all over his nutsack... Why do you think he wants to get out of Phoenix?

daco he's on the block because he's going to walk no matter what when he's a free agent.

Why not trade him now while his stock his high instead of later when possible injury or the contract issues come more to the forefront? Amare's not happy, they know that, his play is affected and its an irreparable relationship.

It's only step 2 in Phoenix's drop down the NBA basement.

This won't be the last major change to the team.

Amare for AI + first rounder swap?

Phoenix get their expiring. They put Jrich at SF and play Nash/AI rest of the year at backcourt

look at this pistonsl lineup

PG Stuckey
SG Hamilton
SF Prince
PF Amare (where he belongs)
C Sheed

Phx scores 110 a game gives up 120 with AI and Nash. But Det looks good with that squad.

Suns Begin Trade Talks Involving Amare

Posted Image

The Phoenix Suns have begun exchanging trade proposals with teams for forward Amare Stoudemire, league executives told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday.

Steve Kerr apparently is determined to move Stoudemire ahead of the deadline.

“Everyone is on the table but (Steve) Nash,” one executive said.

Stoudemire is expected to opt out of his contract for the historic free-agent summer of 2010 and his relationship with the front office has reached a point where neither side wants him to be in Phoenix beyond 2010.

I would think a fast moving Eastern team like Atlanta would be a great place for Amare.

I can't see Kerr considering a deal to someone in the West.

However, if I'm the Clippers - I make a call and ask what they want.

If that were the case. I'm sure Amare wouldn't mind and be happy cause he'll be close to him in Florida.

Oh I see. Didn't know the Suns were in such turmoil. I don't pay attention to them, or really any other team in the West for that matter.

Miked Los Angeles, CA: Would suns even think abuot trading Amare for Lamar, it would help the suns because Lamar is pass first and uptempo kind of player also his expiring contract. Although I dont think the Suns woudl want to trade Amare to a Division Rival. BUt the Trade works on Trade Machine.

SportsNation J.A. Adande: One thing I was told by a Suns source was that moves would not be made for competitive reasons, it's financial. So if you're not making competition a priority, it doesn't matter which team you're improving or where they play.

If it's financial, then there's a good chance the Cavs end up with a Sun with their huge expiring Wally contract.

If that happens, then who goes to the bench when Drew is back? And one of the 3 fc players would have to be moved in offseason.

Bulls And Heat Pursuing Amare The Hardest

Posted Image

Sources told ESPN that the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons and Portland Trail Blazers are among the many teams with whom Phoenix has exchanged trade scenarios regarding Amar'e Stoudemire, with the Bulls and Heat believed to be pursuing him the hardest at this early stage.

After meeting privately with Stoudemire, Steve Kerr acknowledged that the Suns have been taking "a lot of calls" on Stoudemire and told local reporters: "We're not playing to our capabilities, so that's the way it goes when that happens. I think we can still be good this year, but we also have to make sure we can sustain our success. The last five years, we've made a concerted effort to keep our talent around. We've built up a really big payroll. We've traded some first-round picks [to do that], some young assets, so we've got to keep that in mind, too."
