Tim Legler said on ESPN that Amare is one of the top, if not the best offensive big man in the NBA.

Sorry Legler, but the best offensive big man is on the Lakers. His name is Pau Gasol.

Yup, I was listening as well when he said that and thought the same thing immediately. What a [expletive]in' idiot.

The Knicks and their fans had better hope real hard that someone else comes to their team.

if they're hitching the fate of that organization on Stoudemire, they made a terrible, terrible choice.

He'll get his numbers because they have nothing else, but when it comes down to it they just gave a max contract to a player that isn't worth it and gets them no closer to anything resembling a championship.

Knicks Lakers in the finals next year.. Knicks in 5..

 what ever floats your boat. Better get a better bench  And that guy name LeBron always choke's in the playoffs. Against the Magic choke. Choked against the Celtics. And let's not forget those Spurs that swept LeBROOM  You have a good time fantasying Knicks will be in the Finals next year.

The Knicks aren't back at all. Amar'e isn't going to be get them anywhere. They'll need another piece or two.

^ One piece.. Amare is a semi product of Damntoni's system so his stats will flourish with the Knicks. All they need is one more talented player (anywhere from tony Parker's talent to LeBron's talent) and they're at least a 45 win team. Overall I do see the Knicks having a winning season next year.

The only thing I'm happy about is I can most likely go to playoffs games next year, I hope the Knicks make a deep playoff run into the finals somehow and lose to the Lakers in 4!!!!!!!!!!!
