The NBA released its 2011-2012 schedule a few days ago, and Laker fans immediately looked to see when they will play the likes of Dallas, Miami, Boston, etc.

The obvious concern is if the NBA will even play its full 82 game schedule. Some say it will be like the 1998-99 season where only 50 games were played, or even worse the season could be skipped all together.

However, with blind faith lets assume the full 82 games will be played this season, and if that’s the case…

The match-up has been coined the “Lake Show” vs. the “Blake Show”. While this will be the second time the teams will have met in the 2011-12 season, this game will be nationally televised on ESPN. A game which used to be considered an easy win for the Lakers, is now considered a must-see with Blake Griffin who showed last year that he is a walking highlight-reel. Laker fans will of course want Kobe and crew to come out victorious, but I’m sure they wouldn’t mind watching Blake crack Sports Centers Top 10 that night.
