The Lakers won their sixth straight tonight in a blowout from the tipoff.
The Nets never had a chance… much like their season.
They didn’t have any answers for the Lakers tonight who shot 50% as a team; they just looked sloppy. Made bad passes all night. Took bad shots. Only 20 assists to their 18 turnovers. It could be a long time until this team gets a win.
The Lakers really looked good tonight as everyone got involved. Only Morrison went scoreless.
They themselves were sloppy with 17 turnovers, but the ball still moved well. They also had 27 assists and were really looking out for each other tonight.
Now, the bests of the day…
Top 3 Laker Performers -
1) Kobe had 30, 8 and 7 tonight along with his 5 threes. MVP numbers again!
2) Pau had 20, 9 and 7, just a notch below Kobe’s performance. 7 assists from your PF is pretty impressive!
3) Farmar shot amazing — 6 for 9 with 15 points. Good to see him back with confidence.
Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): Morrison was the only scoreless Laker.
Play of the Night: I like Artest’s steal in the backcourt and pass to Fisher for the three.
What to Look for Next Game: Hornets come into town Tuesday night — should be a low scoring affair.
