Lakers Nuggets BasketballThis was just a dismal performance by the Lakers in the second half. I don’t think I have ever seen this team look so flat, tired, and flat out bad.

The Nuggets absolutely embarrassed the starting unit in the third, outscoring the Lakers 29 to 8.

The Lakers first half wasn’t bad. They moved the ball well and played solid defense, but the second half was completely different. They took terrible shots which led to continuous fast break points for the Nuggets, especially Carmelo.

The Lakers shot under 40% for the game and had almost as many turnovers as assists — never a good sign.

No Laker hit 20 points tonight for the first time in quite awhile. The Lakers also struggled from behind the arc hitting only 7 of 23 attempts. It really was just a bad second half to watch.

I guess it could have been worse, the Clippers were up 22 in the first half and ended up losing by 15.

Now, the bests of the day…

Top 3 Laker Performers -

1) I thought Bynum played hard. The Nuggets made some good plays against him, but he still had 19 points with 15 boards.

2) Artest had only 11 points and 6 assists, but his 6 assists came at the when we needed them early on and he played good defense on Carmelo. Carmelo had 25 points, but many were on the break and not Artest’s fault.

3) Farmar had 8 points off the bench.

Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): Powell had 4 fouls and had 2 points. Never a good thing.

Play of the Night: Brown’s breakaway dunk in the first half.

What to Look for Next Game: Ariza’s first game back in Staples Center. Should be a fun one!

oh well. Night after run and gun with the Suns. Back to back. Gives them a chance to regroup?
This does show that we do need Pau against the elite teams. And also, a loss reveals your weaknesses, so you can strengthen up.
Just trying to look at the brighter side of things.

    • lilkobe24

      obviously we need PAU !

    • http://LakersNation Marwan

Yeah, having no Pau is our weakness against the bigger teams.

See how the Lakers shredded them apart in the playoffs? Why didnt it happen today? Cause there was no Pau.

  • WatWudChickSay? (WWCS?)

I predicted this loss last night to my bud, Laker Chad: a back to back against a team looking to “avenge” their loss to the Lakers in the Conf Finals (getting totally punked in Game 6, no less).

Its almost like the Lakers proved their point in the first half: we won’t get blown out when our legs are fresh.

It was a good thing that the Nuggets did all that woofing: I could see it p*ssed off the Lakers. Kobe, in particular. Aaron Aaflalo is going to get absolutely torched by Kobe in their next game. That’s my next prediction that will come true.

Its hard to pick who is the most deplorable and hatable of the Nuggets: Kenyon “The Stutterin Mofo” Martin or J.R. “Don’t Call Me J.R.” Smith.

    • http://LakersNation Marwan

J.R. really got to me as much as he did to Kobe and the Lakers. Seriously one 3 pointer and he is louder than the arena is.

Give him the moment, its a wonderful sight for him, he doesnt see it go in as much as others do.

Lakers will torch them next meeting when we have Pau, just wait Nuggets, man you won’t know what hit you. Remember game 6 of WCF? We blew them out by 27 WITH Pau. So we can wait for Pau, next meeting is in February 5th. Long way to go but Pau will be back by then

    • gugy

      I agreed with you.
Let Denver enjoy this for now. Lakers will get them next time, plus we all know in a series we will take care of business.
It’s sad to see that most of the Denver team is so low class and a bunch of thugs. No worries guys, Lakers will be just fine.
Hopefully Pau will be back soon so we can truly look at the whole team.

  • WatWudChickSay? (WWCS?)

BTW, Adam Morrison is done, absolutely done.

I feel bad for the guy

He looked like an old guy at the Y.

They might as well either cut him or send me down to the D league or let him go off to Europe.

Seriously, we could use the roster spot.

    Sorry, Adam.

  • gugy

I am not sure why some of you guys are so upset.
Yes losing is not fun, but I think this is a good wake up call for the team.
Let Denver enjoy it for now. We all know they will not beat us on a playoff series. Just like last year we will take care of business when it matter most.
For me the team was tired on the 3rd quarter and that was the main reasons for the lack of energy then.
I am not worried. Sometimes losing will spark the team for another run and make the coaching staff look harder at the issues we have now.
Also remember one of the key player for our success is not there. We will be just fine.

  • drive-for-16th

ya man morrison needs to go man thsi si a bussiness and we want to win a ring it cant happen with him there and mybe sum others i wont name yall know who they are.

  • drive-for-16th

and fuk jr smith and, kenyon martin will never win cause evertime the lakers are against wat ever team hes on to stop him. remember the finals vs nets. haha chea. We just gotta regroup get pau back send lamar to teh bench. i think we shuld have given the ball to andrew in the inside more too, instead of setting for shots that werent falling.

    • http://LakersNation Marwan

Uhh… we did that. He kept getting hit and no calls so they knew that would continue to happen so they started taking more shots.

  • Trem

This was the Nuggets championship. Right there. They better enjoy it. We will get them back. Seriously there entire organization with the exception of Melo and Chauncey and Afflalo is low class just like the Celtics. That is why the Nuggets won’t get far in the playoffs. We’ll be fine guys.

  • http://LakersNation Marwan

It was all Melo today. I respect him for having class, not showing a thuggish look, unlike KMART and J.R. Melo played well without showboating unlike, once again, the 2 names written up there.

  • drive-for-16th

their were possesions when we shuld have given it to him but we didnt but then again fisher did have that 3 open and he decided to give it to drew and it got stolen. My bad dude ya u right. I guess we gotta fukin regroup and go against houstan now arizas comin back to get his ring. And we need pau back. they said this coming week hes comin back.

    • http://LakersNation Marwan

I say let Pau rest. Honestly we need him later on. You saw KG. He went out, came back early, and made it worse and missed the playoffs. Same with TMAC. Came back early last season and missed the rest and half of this season.

So when Pau feels 100%, FEELS 100%, not claims to be, then let him come back. From here on out, the only team we got to worry about this month is no one. We got Nets, Warriors, Bulls, Knicks, Rockets, Pistons and Thunder. So let him rest on those days.

      • Randy’s Donuts

Agree 100%. I’d rather the Lakers be an 8th seed and everyone be healthy and fresh. Once Artest got that 5th foul the game was over from there. Also why was Bynum playing in the 4th, get him on the bench and let him rest. Last year I think the Lakers had a lot to prove, but I feel the Lakers just need to pace themselves right now and after the All-star break unleash the beast!

  • Jim

That 2nd half was a disgusting display of pathetic crap. It’s embarrassing that we couldn’t muster up enough of an effort to make it more of a game against a team of trash talking jerks like the Nuggets.

K Mart is a classless Azzhole, I wish Mbenga would go out there and drop him like a sack of potatoes. JR is next for the top punk of the night award. I hate those guys, I mean I REALLY, REALLY HATE THOSE GUYS. They’re a bunch of arrogant baztards and the only team I think less of is our beloved Boston Celtics. I haven’t seen the Laker’s ever play worse than that, I hope I never have to again. UGH, WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT.

    • http://LakersNation Marwan

The dirtiest team has to be the Nuggets. The tats just solidify that reputation.

Melo and Billups are the only ones that are not part of that reputation cause they dont showboat when they get a 3 pointer in. They dont outcheer the arena, man J.R. was actually cheering for himself louder than the arena was.

KMART will soon get what he deserves from LO if he doesnt wise up. LO will take him out with no hesitation, no need for Mbenga, its that easy.

I say that 2nd half, we couldve got at least 15 FTs but the refs didnt want to give it to us, alot of missed calls but when one Denver play runs up the court, foul, and one whether it goes in or not.

  • WatWudChickSay? (WWCS?)

BTW, props to Ron Ron for keeping his cool, particularly tonight.

He’s really growing up. I like the way he’s fitting into the offense and his D is just solid strong.

If he keeps up this course, I can’t wait to see what the second half of the season brings.

I have to admit, however, that I’d love to see Ron Ron sucker punch that All Time Tatty Thug, K Mart, with his huge pimple neck tattoo or whatever that is. I love listening to his stuttering. It is hilariously pathetic.

Think of what Blunt did to that Boise dude, times ten, and a smile will spread across your face.

  • 09champs!

i like to get on this site to read the comments, and see that almost everybody is thinking what im thinking..
The nuggets looked like they had won a championship in NOVEMBER, i just cant stand JR “EARL” smith, the guy was born to play streetball, not on the nba.
Another thing that bothered me is that george karl left his starters in for the 4th quarter just to expand the lead when it was already 23, looks like they are still upset about what happened in the playoffs :A

Anyways, we’ll bounce back, and watch out denver, next game you’ll see what the lakers are about when we are at full strength… Go lakers!! We Miss you Pau :)

    • lakerfan_4ever

Good point, you could see Karl sarcastically smiling in the interview at the beginning of the 4th quarter….I guess he had in mind to keep his starters in the game to run up the score, which is fine, they needed that win to feel good about themselves…

  • drive-for-16th

“We were able to sweep them two years ago in the playoffs. They know that, and they know what happened last year and what it felt like,” Jackson said. “We told the players it was much more important to them than it was to us to win and you guys have got to meet that challenge, and we weren’t able to.”

    • http://LakersNation Marwan

Phil Jackson said it all. The win was more important to them cause when it really matters, they beat us.

  • Robert

well, the pressure is now off to fulfill Reggie Miller’s pronouncement of Lakers going 20 and 1. Now the Lakers can all relax and kick everyone’s a$$, including the Thuggets the next time they meet.
Letting the Thugs win exposes all their tricks. Now the Thugs have nothing left to do but ‘lose’ the next game with the Lakers, and the series, and the playoffs.

  • http://LakersNation Marwan

“This just in, down town Denver, all the Nuggets fans are absolutely destroying the city. Graffiti everywhere, lighting up public property and they even seem to be getting in traffic’s way, stopping cars. They really seem happy they won the championship dont they… What? What do you mean it was just a season game?”

  • willmo

    Guys,

If you played until 11:00p.m. last night boarded a plane to fly and lost an hour of sleep and less we forget play the next night 5,200 feet above sea level, your legs are going to give out at some point. David Stern should be ashamed for aproving such a horrid game that was not to anyone’s advantage because the game sucked.
I love the Lakers hating meda (ESPN, NBA TV) that said that this is a statement game for Denver, let’s see how they do when Pau comes back and both teams have the same amount of rest and preparation.
I didn’t get my hopes up for this one, and let those idiiots in Denver have their fun, this is as close as they get to a championship win.
Kudos to Bynum, the boy is becomng a force, usually when KB24 is having a rough time Pau is there to pick it up.
Is it just me or are the refs just as bad as ever, I wonder if it was such a great idea to have them back.

  • drive-for-16th

it feels as if pau has bin gone for ever now, i miss the big guy.

  • drive-for-16th

    the game was rigged.

  • Robert

It’s ok …. Atlanta also had a ‘statement game’ with the Celdicks, who are prob. going to be in the Finals with (and lose to) the Lakers. Both Championship teams (Lakers and Celdicks) had an off day. It won’t happen again!

  • lakerfan_4ever

According to some team sources, the Nuggets players were very disappointed when didn’t get a ring at the end of the game, until someone reminded them that it was still November….Also, if someone can please help me how to turn the captions on in my TV,Martin’s post game interview was unintelligible…but I guess I’m not the only one having problems understanding him,his tattoo artist was so embarrassed when he found out that Martin meant to say “crips” instead of “lips”,well I guess we all make mistakes…including Earl, boy he celebrated louder when he made that 3 point play than when he got out of jail….

  • Green Flannel

hey it’s me again and what “marwan” just said is absolutely true, the nuggets are so astonished that they beat a high class, well-balanced, strong, deep team that they decide to take out their happiness on their own city. when i thought the nuggets (not melo and cBillups) were idiodic bafoons now i see the wildfire and cockiness of the players has spread to the citizens of DEN. I had the pleasure of telling a drunk nuggets fan to “SHUT THE FUKC UP!!” but guess what? he didn’t SHUT THE FUCK UP!! dissapointed in the lakers but hold your head high and you’ll see the light. R.I.P. Pau. ( no seriously, rest, we need you back)

  • http://LakersNation Marwan

“Ok guys drive for 2 will begin as soon as we get our rings after this game”

    Game ends

“Yeah, we are on top of the basketball world!! Where are our rings?”

Lakers players walk off with their rings from last season

JR: “Hey those guys have our rings, come back here!”

KMART: “Y-Y-Yo man C-C-Come back here”

Run after Lakers and try to snatch back the rings. JR swings at who seems to be Kobe, DJ turns around

    DJ: “Who hit DJ?”

JR: “It was KMART man, You know I wouldnt touch you, I just came out of jail, Im a brand new guy”

DJ goes up to KMART and swings with his ring on his hand

KMART goes home with the Lakers ring embedded on his face

  • drive-for-16th

    marwan that shits funny. hahahahaha

  • http://LakersNation Marwan

Welcome to another segment of “A day in the life of J.R. Smith.”

    Alarm buzzes
J.R: 10:30 already? Oh man, hey you get out, I paid you already, didnt pay to sleep too.

Walks to kitchen, takes out a can of pepsi and some cereal.
He sees the Lakers on the cereal box and starts crying that he cant be like them.

J.R: All the tattoos in the world cant make me happy and I can kill all the people and still nothing. Maybe if I kill one of them and take their ring, I’ll earn at least a few years in jail but Ive been there before and I met a few people so…

    One bite, and bathroom time.
    Comes out 1 hour later.

J.R: Ooh, time to get my tattoo already? Lets see if I have room. Wait, wait.

    Folds some skin.

J.R: Yep if I fold the skin like this and look at it from this angle, I have enough room

J.R. heads over to the tattoo shop.

J.R: Ok, I want a tattoo of chicken wings, because its my signature dance when I score a 3 pointer.

Tattoo artist: That will be $100.

J.R: I see… Ok let me get my money from my wallet, in my pocket.

    Pulls out a knife.
    Kills the tattooist.
J.R. gets arrested and is headed to jail.

J.R: I told you guys I am not interested in you that way.

Prisoner: Why speak now, it is already over, thank you for your co-operation.

    J.R. is released

J.R: Game time already, can’t wait to show everyone my new tattoo, and I heard KMART and the gang got one too, I hope KMART didn’t stutter again and get his tattoo mixed up.

    Game time.
    J.R. gets a 3 pointer.

J.R: Oh yeah I am the best, I will kill all y’all. Time for my dance. Buck buck buck!

    Nuggets win.

J.R: This must be what it feels like to win a championship. It feels so good. Lemme see my ring. Oh there it is.

Walks over to Lakers bench and picks up a championship ring.

J.R: Lakers? I play for Nuggets, and this isnt my face, I have a mustache. I dont wear number 28. What is going on? Oh well, I’ll fix it tomorrow as long as this long journey is over.

J.R. walks off and DJ finds out his ring is gone.
    DJ goes over to J.R.

    DJ: You have DJ’s ring.

J.R: Your ring? Oh- of course, I uh… took it and was looking for you, because I thought you were gone, so I was going to take care of it for you.

DJ: Can DJ have ring back?

    J.R: Sure, hold still.

J.R runs off and is later arrested for theft and murder of a police officer as he killed a police officer in the process.

J.R: I told you I am not interest in you th- oh make it quick.

    J.R is released.

And that concludes today’s segment of “A Day In The Life Of J.R. Smith”

  • http://LakersNation Marwan

Stan Van Gundy – Master of Panic.

Announcer: Ok we are ready for tip off, Lakers and Magic, the Finals rematch.

    Lakers win tip

Stan Van Gundy: TIME OUT!! TIME OUT!! MAN WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? GET OUT THERE AND PUT IN THE EFFORT.

    Lakers inbound. Nelson on Fisher.
Fisher puts the ball through his legs on the spot and Nelson is still on him.

Stan Van Gundy: TIME OUT!! TIME OUT!! NELSO, WHAT WAS THAT? DO YOU WANT HIM TO REPEAT ON YOU WHAT HE DID TO YOU IN THE FINALS? GUYS YOU GUYS ARE THE WORST BUNCH IVE HAD!!

  • Jim

Well, it’s the morning after, and I still don’t feel any better. I guess the thing that’s so disappointing is the fact that our guys quit on us. That’s not characteristic of this team. Normally, if we go down by 20 plus, they dig down deep and try to make it respectable . Not this time though, the going got rough, and we became the skinny guy at the beach who got sand kicked in his face and had his girl taken away.

THIS WAS A HUMILIATING LOSS!!!!!! I haven’t felt this disrespected since game 6 of the 2008 finals. This was Brutus kicking Popeye’s a$$ because Popeye forgot where he put his spinach.

I know that in the big scheme of things, this game has little significance, but the Nuggets just wreak of arrogance, and their chest pumping bravado and trash talking attitude is just sickening to me.

Now, we won’t have any vindication until February 5th (we BETTER NOT LOSE THAT GAME), and we have to put up with that stammering fool’s(K-Mart) verbal diahrrea in the mean time. That team needs an enema.

    • daboss1848

Jim u gotta take it ez buddy – this is a November game. Back to Back game, arrival at 4am, game in 15 hours, no Pau, against a team that thinks this is game 7 of the finals. We dont need vindication against any team – all we need to do is look at our fingers to see the beautiful gold 2009 championship ring.

Tears, humiliation, vengeance is all saved for Playoffs.

By the way – pre-game interview with Jeannie Buss revealed that despite the Lakers record, PJ is extremely unhappy with the play of this team. This clearly validates what alot of fans in here have been saying – their record does not reveal all. Lots of ammunition for PJ in this game . . .

  • Dan Andreas

STD has to be Mbenga. I don’t care what he did or didn’t do, he’s turning into the new Shawn Bradley. Another poster, this time he was murdered by Ty Lawson. Most people probably turned the game off by then, but it was definitely the exclamation point (You can probably find it on Youtube with a couple thousand hits by now). He has some good games, but more often then not, he’s becoming really embarrassing to watch…

    • Gino

that dunk was pretty sick. i wish shannon brown did that to k-mart or melo. oh well…

i think pay back’s a B**** so this should stick in our minds for a while till we play them (and Dallas) the next time. Championships aren’t won in November…

      • http://LakersNation Marwan

What was so good about it?

He didnt get fouled til DJ fell on him on the floor.

And Powell was behind him. If it was wide open dunk it wouldve been a normal dunk its just so hyped cause DJ fouled him

  • 007

Noone should b TOO disappointed we lost. U could see what we COULD do the first half and then it seems we honestly gave up the second half including PJ. PJ knows what he is doing and after running and gunning with the Suns the day bfore and a long flight and playing in denver’s thin air he just wanted to pace the team. It obviously meant more to Karl and the nuggets. And let’s not forget karl’s job is on the line and he’s in a contract year so he had to run up the score in the 4th WITH HIs STARTERS. And we didn’t have pau who easily dominates nene kmart and Anderson. No worries lakernation.

  • maximus

i expected this was going to happen, the lakers had little or no bounce in them,in the start of the game,it was just a matter of time before they would show how tired they really were,it showed in LO ‘s face, and in kobe.back to back should be stopped it’s not good for the teams or for the fans,or for the game itself, your not getting a well rounded game, and i can’t remember anybody( team or players )who wouldn’t want this changed.look how flat the suns were, not saying we wouldn’t have taken them anyway, but it takes away from the game when one team is rested and they others are physically out of it. note to stern, change back to back its hurting the game, and cheating the fans,i don’t care how fit you know they are its unfair all around.

  • Jim

Hey guys, I’m sorry to keep venting, but as you can tell, I’m REALLY bothered by this loss. I mean 8 POINTS IN THE 3rd QUARTER? Are you friggin’ kidding me!!!!!!!!!! I could have gone out there and scored more than that. That was the epitome of ineptitude.

It’s not the loss that bothers me, it’s who we lost to. K-Mart, Jailbird Smith and Birdbrain need to have their nuggets handed to them on a platter.

  • 007

This was like a trap game neway. We just torched a scorching suns team. But it was a back to back for them so we shouldve won that game and we did. I think the lakers were too rested for a badly scheduled back to back road game. It’s almost like this game was purposely scheduled to ensure we would lose a game and not go an undefeated 82-0 (=P I kno I’m reaching)… 3 days off, back to back, road game with time zone change, Denver was known to b out for revenge… And I could go on and on. Even Reggie miller knew we would lose this game by predicting 20-1. I’m usually SUPER upset after a loss but even this bad beat was ALMOST expected. I emphasize almost cuz our team shouldn’t really lose to any team but it’s a long season and no team will EVER go 82-0. We proved what we had to in the first half. Plus it was 8 against 5 in the second half and PJ and the rest of the team knew it

  • BynumHatersBlankU

Now you see what you got in Bynum. Wake up you Bynum Butt brain haters. The guy is healthy and kicking azz.

Kobe feed it to the big guy. PJ was implying that in the last game. Learn to feed the Big Guy even if it kills you. Sometimes when you eat first kobe you can really mess up the table for everyone else. Jus sayin.

  • IHATECELTS4LIFE

Anytime you play back2back games its always hard and I give the lakers credit for the first half but The Refs Sucked there should of been no calls the way the game was going and Like everyone else is saying we will get them back when they come to staples Plus Aron Afalo will soon Learn that you dont MESS with the Great ONES and KObe is certainly one of them So enjoy your Victory Nuggets Your Grave Will Soon be Build By the LAKERS

  • The Mamba24

It’s just one game. I kind of expected the Nuggets to win this game because they were rested and also EXTRA motivated because they got OWNED in their own building last year in game 6 of the WCF. But I promise you everyone on the Laker team circled Feb 5 on their calendar. I hope Pau comes back when he’s FULLY healthy.

  • Trem

Jim, I understand that you’re angry and everything and I am too but there’s no point in worrying about K-Mart, honestly do you think the Lakers even listen to him or the rest of the thugs on that team? They just don’t even bother to think about it because they know we’re the Champs and they just happened to catch us on a back to back night. Has Kenyon ever beaten us when it truly matters? hmmm nope don’t think so and he won’t anytime soon. We’ll get them back u guys lets just move on and look forward to tomorrow’s games

  • Robert

I think we only might have to be concerned about the Thuggets in the playoffs (and, well handle them just fine). Or, the Mavs will trump them (I’m guessing that the Mavs are the only other team that is really elite status in the West) and we won’t have to deal with them at all.
Also, perhaps Ron-Ron and Kobe are saving their future technical fouls until the end of the season – no reason to waste them now.

  • drive-for-16th

That Ty Lawson guy was pissing me off along with jailbird and gay mart. This was embarresing lost but it shuld motivate us to humiliate them next time when they are in our house. Plus wats the deal with mbenga tryin to blok every shot , he fukin gets in a poster everytime its humiliating to see a laker gettin dunked on in every top 10 play.

  • Robert

This is sort of an early ‘preseason-type’ period of time. The Lakers can notch up a few wins (well, a lot of wins), try things out, and sort of play ‘easy’ with the tough guys. Then, slowly build up momentum to the end of the year, when it REALLY matters. Not now. It’s actually a good time to try things out, that may not work now. Get all the kinks out. DJ can practice his shot blocking in real games, to prepare for when it really matters, and then be selective later. In the meantime, let the Thuggets play off the charts now. It’s not good to do that. Look what happened to the Celdicks last year. They played too hard, and lost it by the end of the season. That can’t happen to the Lakers now. They’ll have ‘good’ games, and ‘better’ games. They shouldn’t have too many ‘killer’ games. That will happen more when Ron-Ron gets more integrated, and of course, when Pau comes back. Actually, our win against the Suns was more relevant. It shows we can handle ‘small ball’ if necessary. We’ll take care of the Thugs, in time.

  • Trem

I agree with Robert I think after watching what happened to the Celdicks last year, the Lakers are pacing themselves through the season and not going so hard earlier on. The Lakers are smarter than a lot of people think.

  • Poogus

Hey guys think of it this way… The ONLY times we have lost a game have been when we PLAYED HORRIBLY. I mean HORRIBLY… Every game we have at least been able to score more than 8 points in a quarter we have won. So really the only team that can beat us is us.

  • gugy

you guys are whining too much. Lakers will bounce back and stick on Nuggets @ss next game.
Back to back games with little rest is hard. Plus they were way more motivated than us to win.
We need to play then with Pau to really have a idea where these teams stacked.
Lakers have issues, but the good thing is this is early in the season and we have plenty of time to fix them.
Plus remember, last year the Cavs were unstoppable until they lost. I much rather lose games here and there and get the ring at the end. We’ll be fine.

  • http://LakersNation Marwan

Great, the media cant let this loss go. The dunk made Top 10 and neither of Shannon’s have.

    Laker haters man.

  • KindSir

Is no one else upset at how phil refused to take a timout at the beginning of the 3rd? That ish pissed me the f off. Phil does his reputation of letting the players figure it out for themselves, to uphold though. So I guess it’s understandable : /

He knew the game was over. The refs were on their side too, and he knew that would happen so no point calling one with odds against you

It wasn’t over, at halftime they were only down by two. He shoulda called a TO after they scored consecutive baskets and it was apparent the thuggets were coming out swinging.

But it was 8 vs 5. We were gone since the game started, we came out gunning but as soon a Kobe and Bynum got doubled and there was lots of contact, the refs dont call it, I knew it was going to be a long night. It was simply the refs and Nuggets vs Lakers.

Wait til they come to Staples Centre. Man will the Lakers want to kill them.

You’re right Trem, I need to relax and remember that it’s just one game. There gonna figure it out and come back strong against Houston tomorrow, besides, Boston just lost to Indiana. I’m feeling better already.

We REALLY need to win at Blazers. Seriously, we havent won in Portland for so long now. We need to beat them there to make up for the loss Against Dallas and Denver.

Thats the spirit guys. Remember we lost to them at their home last year too so its not new.

We will get them at our home when come to LA.

By the way, I am loving the way Ron Ron is playing. His 3s are going in and if it wasn’t for the ref’s bad calls, Melo wouldnt be gunning the way he was yesterday.

It’s time to look for a new PG..We all love Fish, but he can’t guard these young guys anymore. Please ship him, Sasha, and Farmar out. This is a wake-up call. Time for some new guards.
