After a long summer, the night finally arrived — Ron Artest in a Lakers uniform. In his first game as a Laker, the Lakers took care of business defeating the Warriors in a meaningless game at the Honda Center.
I’m going to keep it short since it was the pre-season and I missed most of the game with the Dodgers on at the exact same time… terrible scheduling!

Top 3 Laker Performers -
1) Bynum looked just as he did last year in the beginning. 24 points on 13 shots with 5 boards.
2) Kobe was Kobe with his 22 points, 9 boards and 3 steals.
3) Many other Lakers played well, but Ron Ron played great for a first game. 12 points, 9 boards, 7 assists and 2 steals!
Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): Doesn’t really matter since it is the first game of the pre-season.
