Take one at home, take one of the road… finish the series.

  • http://nunya lakergurl

were da fans at..yall food stampin…how odom gon let birds nest boi block his shot like that..

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

Bynum is the key to defend the paint vs these thugs… As long as the refs allow him to stay on the floor!

  • Luke the Oompa Loompa

Will FARMA$$ and VUJASH!T stop shooting 3’s and drive-in or dump in the post to Pau. Pau is not getting enough touches. BYNUM MAN UP AND GRAB THE FCUKIN REBOUNDS!!!

  • Luke the Oompa Loompa

As of 6 min left in the 2nd Quarter:
    – Nene (6’11”, 250) –> 7 rebounds (4 Offensive)
    – Bynum (7’0″, 275) –> 1 rebound (0 Offensive)

  • Luke the Oompa Loompa

Don’t settle for 3 pointers! Drive in and get fouled!!!

  • RN

If Lamar Odom SLASH/DASH to the lane he will have good shots all night long. I don’t understand why most of the time he is standing on the prerimeter to pass the ball and then standing there to wait for the ball to bounce back to him.

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

Don’t like the rhythm of this game.

  • Luke the Oompa Loompa

[Comment ID #73352 Will Be Quoted Here]

Agree with you Juan. So far, the rhythm of this game is completely favoring the Nuggets. Lakers still not boxing out effectively and grabbing rebounds. They are still losing the hustle points to the nuggets. Our guys are not making their shots. We’re shooting too many jumpers and not enough drives to the basket and post-ups.

  • Luke the Oompa Loompa

Lakers are really looking sluggish in this 3rd quarter. Again, WHERE IS THE HUNGER, ENGERGY, DESIRE, FIRE ON YOUR OWN HOME COURT??

  • Josh in D 310

Can Pau Gasol Grab a F*cking Rebound and stop playing Volleyball?! Damn Brown just dunked on the Pigeon man! Lmao

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

Worst call of the year! ..Kobes offensive foul!

  • Josh in D 310

Go Lakers! And please no more Volleyball from Gasol! That guy needs some Hood in him to toughen up

  • http://nunya lakergurl

7-0 run sh!t cant get no betta they need ta do this all night
    the mamba has struck again…

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

It is what it is! …Nothing anybody can do about Gasol’s touch… Guess we’ll have to live and die by it!

  • Josh in D 310

Luke Walton will be key in this 4th quarter with his passing!

  • RN

Boneheaded LO needs cut in the basket and move around. How many lay-ups has he missed. Wow, finally he learned to dunk the damn ball.

  • LEADERFISH

The replay clearly showed it was an offensive call.

  • Josh in D 310

OMG there has been a Lamar Odom sighting at Staples! The Sasquach has appeared! About time L.O! Up by 10

Wrong! … Just because your boy, Van Gundy proclaims something, does not mean it’s a god given fact… Not even close!

  • kobe8

Odom haters? i would love to hear yall right about now.

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

All’s good in LA LA land! …Lakers Win! Lakers Win!
    …Daaaaaaaaaaa! Lakers WIN!!!!

  • LEADERFISH

Kobe just said it. He is realizing that he can’t go one on one all the time. He allowed the double team to come and then it opened up the whole team. This is just like what MJ would do. Hopefully he will keep doing this and we will win because we have lots of talent despite what some so called laker fans say.

  • Josh in D 310

Odom Is an Animal! And hey Gasol got 5 blocks and alot of good plays on Defense. Loving my Lakers 2nite but who knows who shows up on friday. A tequila shot for my boys for their effort 2nite.Cheers 2 the Lakers nation

  • Deport Vujabrick

    Lakers 3 for 16 from the 3.

Way to crank up the D – 11 straight stops..

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

Wat wus dat? …George Karl… Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • WifelovesLuke

Shannon Brown’s dunnk on Birdman was the spark we needed tonight. From that point on, we dominated.

Great game from LO. Glad to see his back is feeling better. Let’s close this thing out on Friday.

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

Odom asserted his very unique and positive will on the game tonight, but he still needs to work on a couple of things he is most definitely very weak at… making 2 free throws, more often than not, and contested drives/lay-ups to the basket! …If only he would make an assertive improvement in these 2 fields alone, then his overall value might warrant the contract his agent negotiated for him, back in the day when he played for The Heat!

  • gugy

Best game so far from the Lakers.
Great team effort. That’s what we really need.
Denver has no chance when we have the team playing ball and not only Kobe and Gasol.
Let’s keep this energy, momentum and determination and close this thugets on game 6.
    Go Lakers!

  • LakerLand_Nostradamus

    I told you guys,
    Everything I predict yesterday happened.
Orlando on and Lakers won tonight with a monster game from Lamar.
Don’t believe me, go back and check my post yesterday.

    My Crystal ball never fails.

My prediction for tomorrow. Cavs win.

  • Deport Vujabrick

If Odom goes up with two hands on Birdman’s block of his dunk, Birdman breaks a few fingers and Odom scores. Maybe next time!

  • ilikebasketball

    GEORGE KARL COMPLAINING ABOUT CALLS???

    DID YOU HEAR THAT??????

    WHAT A SCUMBAG.
I USED TO HAVE RESPECT FOR THAT GUY.
    NONE NOW.

AND I LOVE THE REPORTER CLARIFYING FOR MR. KARL: “you know carmelo anthony went to the line much more than kobe”

    and karl just ignored it.

much respect for melo to see how kobe was after the hard foul.

    what scumbags that team is.

i love vujacic making that 3 at the half.
big for him. a few more bits like that and maybe he will be alive again. hopefuly by next game.

  • Luke the Oompa Loompa

Ok I haven’t been a huge fan of Lamar because of his usual below average effort. However, I’ll be the first to admit that he had a great all-around game tonight in Game 5…one that I have been longing to see him play as a Laker. He actually played real defense tonight (and not the lame statue of liberty defense that he normally does) and blocked shots. Let’s all hope he carries this energy and momentum to Game 6.

  • Lakers_TheTruth

Yeah, George Karl complaining about the refs was ridiculous.
Anyway, the guy knows will be so hard to beat the Laker twice in the next two games.
I hope the Lakers will have the energy and the same team effort to close this out Friday.

  • http://www.myspace.com/orionis deus_ex

We have to play hard to keep Denver’s “sixth man” a.k.a, the refs outta the game. When we attack and play hard, it’s harder for Denver’s “sixth man” to have any impact on the outcome.

Die hard Laker fans let our energy feed our players onto victory in game 6.

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

Dude, how can you call yourself a Lakers fan when you CLEARLY, as replays clearly show; are one of the most notorious offensive Kobe haters, on this site! …And you know! who I’m talkin bout!!!!

  • WatWudChickSay? (WWCS?)

[Comment ID #73366 Will Be Quoted Here]

Odom did what I prayed he’d do in the Game 4 post-game posts. In fact, he put up almost the exact number of points, rebounds, and assists that I said should be his standard production.

I’ll give him his proper respect. In fact, I “tweated” him right after the game and did so.

Now, he just needs to do it in Game 5 and not let all the sugary candy send him into a sugar fog.

Besides, I don’t “hate” Lamar, he’s a very good person, I just want the Lakers to get better value for their $13.3 million salary from Lamar.

  • MR. JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK

Let me also say kobe is the only player worth keeping. Everyone on this team should be up for trades this summer except Kobe. We have to clean house because this team is too dependant on Kobe. We need to see if we can get tougher players that give 100%. I do not see Pau, Bynum, Lamar, and Fisher giving 100%. This team is Kobe ONLY. KOBE KOBE KOBE YA ALL. LETS SING THAT SONG KOBE YOU ARE MY SHINING STAR DON’T YO GO AWAY. KOBE YOU ARE MY SHINING STAR I WILL LOVE YOU TIL MY DYING DAY.

  • MR JUAN_YOUR WARLOCK
