This was an entertaining Friday night game as they closed out the preseason like I hope they pull off Tuesday night vs Portland — only with Kobe in the lineup.
The Lakers moved the ball well on offense and shot extremely well at 55% for the game, with much thanks to Andrew. One of the only downers continues to be the turnover-prone Lakers. 23 turnovers tonight is just too many. They need to clean it up this weekend. Since it is a preseason game, I will keep it short.
Now, the bests of the night…
Top 3 Laker Performers -
1) No Question, Bynum was unstoppable. 23 points, 3 blocks, and 8 boards in 29 minutes.
2) D Fish didn’t play much but he was efficient. 10 points, 5 boards, 5 assists. Solid shooting, Fish.
3) Farmar had 14 points, but had 7 turnovers, so I gotta go with the other Bruin Ariza who had nearly a double-double tonight and was active all game.
Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): Chris Mihm — for finding a way to get hurt yet again. Doesn’t look too bad though.
Play of the Game: Ariza’s slam dunk.
What to look for Next Game: Look for a fast-paced exciting game. Lakers should take this one. If you need tickets for any games coming up, let me know. Great deals for the home opener at TLNtickets.com.
Go Lakers!!!
