TLN’s Post-Game Report: Lakers @ Mavericks - Laker Nation

TLN’s Post-Game Report: Lakers @ Mavericks

Another sluggish start. Another entertaining win for the Lake Show! It seems that no matter how terrible this team plays, we can still pull out wins.

I know I say it in every post game report, but I love this teams depth. Every game we have different people finishing. Tonight, Lamar and Ariza stepped in to close the game.

The Lakers won the game with defense in the end as they had 13 steals as a team and held Dallas to under 42%. Offensively, the Lakers did their thing, with tip dunks and fadeaways from Kobe.

Now, the bests of the night…

Top 3 Laker Performers -

1) Pau once again stepped up. 22 points and 13 rebounds from Pau were the difference in this game.

2) Ariza had 13 points, 6 boards, and 3 steals. He also had the potential game saving block. Great game, Trevor!

3) Kobe was Mr. 4th quarter again as he finished with 27 points on 50% shooting.

Honorable Mention: Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum, both played superb.

Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): D-Fish did the little things. But when you shoot 1-8, you kind of deserve the STD.

Play of the Game: Let’s see… we have Kobe’s tip dunk, Pau’s, Ariza’s block, Ariza’s dunk… you pick.

What to Look for Next Game: The Lakers have a very tough one in New Orleans should it go down to the wire. Good thing is, no Laker played more than 35 minutes tonight.

Ticket Info: Next home game is Friday vs. A.I. and the Pistons. Inventory is pretty low and prices are pretty high… might want to save up next week for the Bulls and/or Nuggets. Email me at Steve@AveryTickets.com or call 818-387-8224 and mention TLN.

Go Lakers!
