What can I say? I’m a selfish fan. Come on, admit it, when you first saw the split screen Kobe/Shaq ad you knew things would be insanely intense if the Lakers met the Suns in the post-season. Instead, we as a Lakers Nation were let down.

With flawless execution, the Suns beat – 2 years in a row – a Smush parker “run” Lakers squad… then to see the stupid desicion making by Nash, careless turnovers, and horrible execution… makes me angry as a fan the Suns are, yes I’m saying it, OUT of the post-season.

However, sometimes you can’t forget the trash talking the Suns did. The very man walking off the court in the picture said this about our Lakers after we destroyed them extremely early in the season:

“You mean the eight minutes he took over there to explain maybe one play that he probably didn’t run? Yeah, I was pretty upset,” D’Antoni said. “I thought he disrespected our players. But he likes to play mind games, and that’s fine. He might want to try to do it in playoff time when we bust them every year. We have them three more times. . . . That’s fine.”

Moral of the post: Karma is a Shaq coach D. Karma is a Shaq…

Well I hope that he doesn’t get fired, so that we can bust every year on out from now…

(Profanity is not allowed on thelakersnation.com, please go edit your comment) the Suns and the whole team and organization.

Karma for being arrogant and for being a bunch of losers.

This Suns team under Nash will never win a ring.
Probably Shaq will demand another trade next year.

I am so glad they are out. Unfortunately we will miss the chance to kick them out. Maybe next year.

  • Papa-101

Haha how does it feel Mike! The only bust is your team. Shut up and get in the unemployment line

  • http://www.thelakersnation.com Fred A.

It time for Avery and Mike to switch coaching jobs just kidding.

  • youknowwhatitis

sad? please…never feel sad for this group of douchebags

  • Lakers 24 7

They only busted us for 2 seasons, not every year, and it’s not like they won a championship, they got an All-Star line up, including a 2-time MVP, a Sixth Man of the Year coming off the bench, and can’t win shiit, and they happy because they beat us for the passed two seasons? I wish we would have met them in the playoffs so we can sweep em and D’Antoni can stick Nash’s diick in his mouth and STFU.

I wanted the Suns to win so badly… not just because I wanted to see the Lakers get playoff revenge on them, but also I hate seeing San Antonio in the playoffs. They are formidable. But I think within a week when the lakers start the second round the Suns will be fresh out of our minds. I hope those Phoenix fans feel all the sorrow that comes from only lasting one round… GO L.A.

  • Michael_23

Avery goes to Phoenix and D Toni goes to Dallas.

Hahaha, seriously tho, I think Avery would be a good fit in Miami. Young team, young coach, with perhaps a #1 or #2 draft choice. Best of luck to Avery.

I think Miami just gave Avery a deal, from what I heard

  • vida8

OMG when i read that i felt like i want kill him ….

  • PeanutButterSpread

lol yeah the Suns beat us the last two first rounds when we had Smush Parker and KWAME BROWN, is that even worthing bragging about? Considering we did crush them this year 3 games (1 with Pau, 2 with Andrew) to 1 (without Andrew or Pau) and he thinks he’s beaten the Lakers “every” year? lol, please, win some championships before insulting other teams.

  • Smush Walton

San Antonio really shut Nash down. I’ve never seen him play worse. I guess there is no doubt that trading for Shaq was a disaster. The guy should just retire. He looks absolutely worthless out there. “Most Dominent Ever?” – what a farce! You would think aftee all of these years this baffoon would have learned how to make some freethrows. What a lazy bum! You need to retire Shaq! You are the joke of the league!

    LOL Mike D

Sit down and watch just watch us are you grimace in front of your TV set

  • Lakers4Life

We will not even think of them after this playoffs. Its like when the kings died. The hype is not there anymore.

  • xtro

Signore Mike D’ Antoni will go Toronto to coach the Andrea Bargnani and the Raptors, capisce?

  • sammo120

d’antoni is a punk ass! everyone wanted to blame robert horry and david stern for the suspension of stoudemire and diaw last year in the play offs, when they should have blamed d’antoni! that’s right, blame d’antoni! it’s his responsibility to make sure that his players stay on the bench as well as his staff’s and the players, not stern’s! he’s such a hot head and his team is comprised of a bunch of dumb asses who can’t think for themselves and they followed his lead and that’s why those 2 fools got the suspensions! you’d never see a popovich team of the spurs do that! that’s because popovich is calm and collected and his team is disciplined! can’t remember the last time a jackson team went and joined in a melee either. that’s because they know how to coach and have their players following their lead. the coaches lead and the players follow! that’s how it goes! and that’s why those 2 bone heads got up, they were following the lead of their coach! i’m glad that fool got runned! as much as i would’ve loved to see the lakers eclipse the suns every time for the next 5 years, i love seeing d’antoni get humiliated even more!
