The Lakers have closed out opponents in Game 6 road games in four of their last five opportunities. The only loss coming to Houston in 2009.

When leading a series 3-2, the Lakers are 13-11 in Game 6 on the road. (13-10 Los Angeles, 0-1 Minneapolis).

If the Lakers lose game 6 in New Orleans, the odds are in their favor to close it out in Game 7. When the Lakers lead a series 3-2, they are 34-4 (any round) all-time.
