Ten ways to prepare for the Lakers season opener

Clippers Lakers BasketballLakers Examiner: Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is finally over. The long anticipated debut of the 2009-10 Los Angeles Lakers season is just a day away.

The defending champs will open tomorrow night at home against the Los Angeles Clippers. Well, I guess it’s the Clippers’ home too, but that’s beside the point.

Anyway, there’s no doubt that opening night brings about feelings of excitement and satisfaction, but it also brings up some anxiety and one important question:

“Have I, as a Laker fan, done everything in my power to prepare for opening night?”

It’s kind of like a first date. You’re excited and eager to get going, but you need to make sure you’ve gassed up the car, hit up the ATM, and purchased a box of Tic-Tacs or a tin of Altoids for your pocket.
