Sore Knee Continues to Bother Bynum

UPDATE: Per multiple sources, Andrew Bynum has been ruled out of tonight’s gave vs. Houston. He is listed as day to day.

In shocking news, Andrew Bynum missed yesterday’s practice with soreness in his left knee (not the knee he had surgery on during the offseason). According to a report by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, he spent most of Monday’s practice with Lakers trainer Gary Vitti.

When asked whether or not he would be available for tonight’s game vs. Houston (7:30pm PT, FSW), Phil said, “We’re hopeful.”

Judging by the Lakers cream-puff defense in the paint this season, I think we can all agree that we need a healthy and motivated Bynum now more than ever.

    lol “shocking”

    • dabοss1848

      nice hack,

like I said us not getting pig will most likely lead to our downfall.

      • daboss1848

excellent mimicry, except for “downfall” – hyperbolic pessimism, lol!

        • dabοss1848

also added note: i no use pessism – i cautiously optimistic.

        • daboss1848

Overusing the verb lacking sentence structure. But I’ll give you A for effort. Now, if u can tell me who that sentence structure is in honor of, i will truly be impressed. (No one tell!)

          • dabοss1848

            Mr. Cool, I presume?

          • daboss1848

I am truly impressed – excellent homework!!!

  • 242LаkerFаn

    Is anyone even surprised?

Glass knee Drew is back and only a matter of time until it escalates to something more severe.

At this point we’d be lucky to have any takers for our two starting bigs. Gasol has been MIA since Thanksgiving & Drew’s injuries have finally returned.

    but life goes on.

    • daboss1848

“shockingly” there are lots of fans that are surprised every year when Bynum goes down.

      • 242LаkerFаn

        Andrew Bynum

        Half man, Half a season.

        • le-elbow =)

          lol comment of the year

    • 242LakerFan

The Hack is back, I see. Is that even you responding, boss? Or is this person’s identity crisis gone to newer and more fantastic heights?

      • dabοss1848

fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

        • daboss1848

          now, thats hack

      • daboss1848

lol – yeap that was actually me (but hey hack would say same thing – so nvm). But, we had this discussion in shoutbox and I was called Bynum hater for suggesting that perhaps our friendly neighborhood seven footer would likely be scheduled for another pine visit, based on his history. Kids just dont like acknowledging history.

    • 242LakerFan

Seriously, Hack, what’s the point? Okay, we’re impressed with your little computer knowledge. You can clone someone’s account, including name and avatar, but really, if you have an opinion, you are actually allowed to express it. You don’t need to assign it to someone else. This is still America, despite every effort to change it into something else.

      • daboss1848

This site needs to remove all these hacks now.

        • daboss1848

i agree hack – but i am impressed with the mimicry and ur knowledge – truly.

          • dabοss1848

u responded to the other hack, lol.

          • daboss1848

lol dammit i cant keep track – whichever of u it was that answered the q, i am impressed; the other is just a hack

          • dabοss1848

i’ll admit I get puzzled as well, & your appreciation is duly noted.
            thanks.

    TRADE BYNUM PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • xtro

it’s over. it was good while it lasted.

  • Van Mo

Hopefully, Bynum gets healthy till 2012 cos he’s not the Future of the Lakers franchise. Well, he’s a future trade bait. Hopefully he can be healthy enough to be traded for Howard. Pau just need to stay healthy and motivated cos help is soon on the way.

Right now as I see, our Lakers are not motivated. I think they saw how the Celtics and Heat ramp up and they don’t think they have a chance. We need to get someone who’s familiar with the team. Someone who’s familiar with the rivalry. Someone who wants revenge from the 2008 massacre. And most importantly, someone who will bring the FUN & PASSION back in Lakers basketball. That man is Ronny Turiaf.

  • daboss1848

Here we go again Bowie i mean Bynum

    • daboss1848

be nice – hes still a Laker

    • Van Mo

Bowie did pretty good when he was with the Lakers. I remember the rivalry with Sonics when Bowie blocked Kemp’s monster dunk attempt. Too bad he was a bust in Portland. He will forever be linked with the airness.

  • rondo

Bynum will leave when his contract is up! And the Lakers will have a very old Kobe!

  • masalakers

Guys it’s the same story as the last two seasons; Lakers play uninterested, Bynum goes down, Lakers pick it up in the Playoffs and the result is a Championship Banner! No time to panic.

  • lakersallthewayy

now its the other knee! everytime we think he’s finally back he goes down and since mitch is thinking about making some calls he’s probably gonna figure one out about bynum but the thing is even though bynum is always injured, we need his length and size in order to win a championship, im not liking any of these laker news, i’ve been saying that i want them to pick it up for a while, i dont know if i should give up..but of course i always support my team

  • handy

bynum’s not injured he’s only saying that cuz he heard mitch is gonna make trades
smart move drew smart move but get your ass on the court and win us some games if u don’t wanna get traded

  • juanv

Bynum is a lazy he doesn’t want to playthis guy is already satisfied with his two rings he don’t even work on his game anymore hehas no heart I am sad to say he will go down as abust among allthe laker greats
